The reason I'm doing headphones is because I can't do earbuds anymore. They fall off easily and it feels like I need to jam them in to get the full effect.
I feel you. Only earbuds I find acceptable are the AirPods and the AirPods Pro. Most other earbuds just make me want to vomit the way they sit in my ears and it’s even worse cause I have tinnitus. I’m also in the need of ANC headphones cause I have the Bose AE2 but the sound quality went to shit after I changed the pads.
I clicked on this video because it was a review for a product I’m considering buying and now I’m watching this guy jump rope over and over again my dude your workout routine is so cool
They really ARE that good at $60.. I was amazed at first when I got mine. Sound quality is very good for 95% of people.. even audiophiles give them high marks for anything under $150 😮 They are worth every penny.. where they are kinda cheap is build quality. So if you break stuff easily.. get the Q45 which are built like tanks (but cost $150).
Get this headphone!! Ive had this for about a year now and it is just amazing! I come home after listening to airpods and the amazing bass combined with the active noice cancelling is so comforting.
I've always gone around this budget with over ears, have you found that the material around the top has stretched at all from a year of putting them on/ taking them off and it's more difficult to keep them on your head if bending over/lying down?
@@e.griessel5818 Yes definitely. I recently upgraded to the q35 bc I broke my old headphones from repair. And get this, the limited dexterity in the ear cup swivels gives me a better seal on the cups and the sound is better. No joke. If you disregard all the other functions of the newer life series, then I would pick the old pair for sound quality alone.
I would agree. I would recommend you do some post processing on your audio and employ some noise reduction, as I could definitely hear some background static. I use audacity and a post processing method from EposVOX for my videos. I have found it does a really good job to normalize the audio and reduce the background noise as well as just give a better overall sound to my audio.
I just received these (August 2022) and thought they wouldn't be good enough so also ordered some Sennheisers which haven't arrived yet. These Anker Q20s are so good that I'll probably sell the Sennheisers when they arrive. Incredible sound, 60 hour battery, very effective noise cancelling, Bluetooth 5, and comfortable. What more do you need? They won't win a beauty contest but I couldn't care less about that
The only problem I had with this headset was in wireless mode. For some reason whenever I was close to a tp link powerline (and I have a few of those in my house) the WiFi speed would drop to 6 Mbps from 60 Mbps. I guess its because they probably both operate at the 2,4 Ghz band and there is interference from the Bluetooth. Unfortunately the TP link kit that I have does not jump to the 5 Ghz band so it is what it is I guess. However, the problem does not appear close to my router which also works at the 2,4 Ghz. I just use the cable around home. Apart from that this headset is the most value for money thing I've ever seen hands down. The base is strong , the battery is great, and they are super comfortable.
I am considering these headphones to use a productivity device while studying around the house. Given my current needs, I don’t anticipate traveling with these or being in ultra noisy environments, but I want to be able to block out household distracting noises with the aid of a little ambient sound in the headphones and the ANC feature. Do you think these headphones provide enough ANC to accomplish that?
Loving my Q20 for the price. Now I am getting tempted to upgrade to the Q35 which supports LDAC (I have a Sony Walkman). The Soundcore headphones are worth every dollar.
Now that is a good use for headphones. They dull background noise but I find noise cancellation on most headphones I've tested abit of a gimmick it does work but, not that well... You would probably need something higher end if your interested in noise cancellation

Thanks for watching. Sorry I didn't test sound leakage. The material felt nice and comfortable they felt light enough to wear for long periods but for there price I was happy with the build quality and feel.
Lovely video! Really want to get these, but one of my biggest worries is the echo you mentioned might come through phone calls. How often have you actually heard other users say the echo has been a problem when using these phones for calls? Just curious, not trying to say you haven't done your research haha! Thanks so much!!
It wasn't much of an issue and in the UK are mobile networks can very often be bad for call quality so it depends greatly on that but for calls I think these will he fine for general use.
Thanks for the video. I just got some and I’m very happy with them I used to get the Bose comfort headphones for over 300 dollars and these were just as good.

You think that's a problem with the earpods or my device? As I say I don't know about these things. I never got in touch with the manufacturers as I only made the decision six months in or so. While connected through AUX cable, Inbuild buttons in headphone works? for bluetooth all ok, but when I connect through AUX, I need to play/pause manually by mobile, headphone's buttons are not working. is it normal? or should I replace it ASAP? plz reply.
I think that when you recorded audio with the smartphone, the sound was captured with the mobile phone's microphone and not with the headset, could it be? When you take the phone from the table I can hear the noise of the smartphone rubbing against the table.
i just discovered these in walmart today, but only had the Soundcore Vortex which has no noise cancelling, but I really liked the fit which is rare for me to find. Idk if the q20 is the same size or not. Would these stay comfortably on small heads or slip off?
Are you certain the mic test was using the Headphone's in-built mic and not the phones? Had my doubts when the direction of the sound changed after you picked up your phone and swerved it around.
Can you try again on the mic sound quality? I think the one that was recorded was through your phone's mic. As you can hear when you picked up your phone, you can hear that you picked it up and when you are closer to it, it sounded nearer to you as well.
I was gonna buy some headphones which seem to only sell because of, firstly, the brand and secondly because the higher price makes them seem higher quality than they really are, Apple logic. Thanks for saving me money.

Do these headphones sit on the ears or around the ears?.. I wear glasses and wear headphones for prolonged periods and my current headphones sit on the ears and press the glass arms into my skull..
While connected through AUX cable, Inbuild buttons in headphone works?
for bluetooth all ok, but when I connect through AUX, I need to play/pause manually by mobile, headphone's buttons are not working.
is it normal?
or should I replace it ASAP?
plz reply.
Sorry I can't remember it was awhile ago when I tested these. You should contact the seller and try and find it.
@@TheDShow ok.. thanx
what should I choose between this and jbl 510?
Why does it sound like your video is pausing with the sound?
Thanks for the vid! Made my purchase today
Hope you enjoy them
How were them? I had issues with the NC in áreas with vibration (a taxi for example).
Does mic works in wired mode ? And dual paring ?
I think that when you recorded audio with the smartphone, the sound was captured with the mobile phone's microphone and not with the headset, could it be? When you take the phone from the table I can hear the noise of the smartphone rubbing against the table.
The app I used was supposed to record the bluetooth source but I guess it didn't work :-(
battery life on average?
Excellent review, well thought out.
Thanks for watching :-)
Good review I will picking these up
Hope you like them. Thanks
i just discovered these in walmart today, but only had the Soundcore Vortex which has no noise cancelling, but I really liked the fit which is rare for me to find. Idk if the q20 is the same size or not. Would these stay comfortably on small heads or slip off?
Ey im listening on the vortex right now!
The only reason one would buy it is for noise cancelation, if it's not good in that regard that's no reason to buy such a cheapo.
Do they fit around ear or on top of ear?
Are you certain the mic test was using the Headphone's in-built mic and not the phones? Had my doubts when the direction of the sound changed after you picked up your phone and swerved it around.
Its possible. The app I was using showed the mic source as the headphones
Honest review buddy, thanx 💜
Thanks for watching
Can you try again on the mic sound quality? I think the one that was recorded was through your phone's mic. As you can hear when you picked up your phone, you can hear that you picked it up and when you are closer to it, it sounded nearer to you as well.
Sorry I don't have these headphones anymore.
I have a beat solo3 wire aux do you think this will work on these Also is it iPhone compatible thanks
Are there any other headphones you'd recommend around this price range that you think are much better?
Sony pulse 3d headset better then this.
Yea you can still use aux cable for your phone
Thanks for the review!!! How does it compare against Edifier W830BT and TaoTronics BH-0046 and BH0090.
Is this good for gaming
I mean how's the latency?
Sorry I didn't do any in-depth tests for gaming.
@@TheDShow no issue at all
Hmm.. do you think I should get these or Sony wireless?
Sorry I haven't used Sony ones...
@@TheDShow okay thanks. (: do you recommend any great wireless ones within the £50 budget tysm!
Yes these ones are what I would recommend on that budget. Thanks (:
Do you have a review on the Life Q10 by anker?
I am selling my beats solo Pro because although they sound great, it’s just crazy uncomfortable. Would these be a good replacement option?
I found them pretty comfortable but everyone got slightly different heads.
Good for the gym?
I was gonna buy some headphones which seem to only sell because of, firstly, the brand and secondly because the higher price makes them seem higher quality than they really are, Apple logic. Thanks for saving me money.
Just bought these do you think they’d cancel out noise in a car?
Depends what type of noise, they will help remove some background noise. generally not loud stuff that is close to you.
Would you suggest buying this
For the price I thought they were good yes.
hi, thank you, how does this compare with Marshall Major III Headphones Bluetooth. :)
Features and value for money 10. Longevity 2. I have had 4 pairs. I will keep returning for replacements them until I can afford the sony wh1000xm4.
4? that's a lot
how often do you replace them?
What was that warning?
Q20 does not support AAC codec?
That alert means that the device is using SBC and you can change it to AAC if you want
Does anyone know if these have better sound quality than the 2019 soundcore liberty neo buds?
I do have one question. Can u use the mic when the jack is put on?
Sorry I did not test that
No you cannot
