I was seriously considering becoming a priest, I had the calling and my hole life made "sense" when my "mission" was revealed to me. I would've been a fervent right-wing conspiracist bigot, big time, and you were a great positive influence to me, my family, and all those with whom I interact every day. More and more people from all the world embrace skepticism and rational thinking every year, and that is no accident, it's due to the hard work of people like you. Thanks a lot!

I didn't realize until today that you had come back to this site; apparently, I don't consent to quite enough of Google's creepily intimate routine probings to have my interest in this channel understood to exist. (Wish my right to my own personal data were respected as much as mega-corporations' right to treat me as their own proprietary commodity!) I've been extremely hesitant to upload any videos here when I never had the means to pay someone for legal or financial advice. Time to register my own domain again, methinks.
Glad you've been here recently enough to seem likely to return again, though, because I didn't discover your channels until you seemed to be gone for "good," and I wanted to be able to thank you for your efforts.
I was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in December, and your videos are comforting -- especially the one with the excerpts from Hitch's descriptions of his experience of knowing he was likely to die very soon, but you've also made my life more pleasant just by uploading these reminders that intelligent and compassionate people exist who know better than to try to make me fear eternal damnation, as if what I have to look forward to in this earthly life weren't horrible enough!

Free advice - there are better speakers than Jordan to have influence your mind, and take your time - and who rely on a much lesser amount of word saladry and dead end analogies. His appealing to ethos/pathos is repulsive.

@@DeusExHomeboy Jordan Peterson in relatively recent debate with Matt Dillahunty was definitely under influence of psychodellic drugs : mushrooms for sure (he even brought them up in debate ) ending in trying to talk about ten topics at once, blocking Matt constantly using word salad to the extreme! I was in disbelief and confused about what that man is talking about. I'm glad Matt Dillahunty managed to win, despite being under attack with utter nonsense the whole time. Surprised it was a civilized debate. Ñ

Well I have a story for you my friend.
I was born in 1991 in a city south of Tehran called Qom. You couldn’t be born in a more of a religious city than that. I was able to emigrate to Australia in 2006 and I struggled a lot with my identity and spirituality as many sections of the Quran and the ideologies of Islam did not make sense to me even when I was living in Iran. I became aware of Professor Dawkins and started to follow his work even though I used to be very offended by his views when I first discovered him.
It only took me a single video of Christopher Hitchens on your channel that I was convinced as an atheist or as Christopher Hitchens would say an anti-theist. I’m not sure if life will ever turn out in a way that we could meet in person, however I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart that you freed me through the content of your channel. I helped me to think for myself and adopt a humanist and secular view of the world instead of the toxic Islamist shia view I was born into. Most importantly, you introduced me to my hero Christopher Hitchens. The day he passed away I felt that a teacher, a mentor, an old friend departed my life and I will always owe you for introducing him and Sam Harris to me, my friend.
