Im 15 years old and love making paintings. Recently i made a painting of a deer and painted "starry night" by van Gough as the background. I made it on a smooth whiteboard like surface so it was hard to do. Your paintings inspired me to draw more wildlife and hang them in my house. I love how you show all the details in your videos. How would that comment make you feel, if directed at you? Especially if you had been painting for many years, as Chuck has? He is a superb artist, end of story. Thankfully, art is individual to the artist. There is no ‘competition’. 😊
That kind of art (The banana crap) comes from an ideological movement of mediocre people unable to express their inner soul into an artistic expression, history repeats itself, we are overhelmed constantly with this kind of stuff, not only in the art community. The idea of social media today is to rise up mediocrity and level down integrity in people with talent making them think that what they do has minimum or no value at all.
Not only another mind blowing painting but the story behind it and the bears being in conflict transported me INTO this piece! All of you art and journey inspires me to pick up my brushes everytime!

As someone learning to paint I love that the painting segments are shown in real time (as much as they can be when condensing hours of work into a 15-20 min video) As much as I enjoy timelapse ones, it gives me a false sense of speed and when I sit to paint I feel like I am too slow or that I need to rush through it. Seeing parts of it in real time is helping me to learn that good artists are much much slower than I realise (I don't mean for that to sound like an insult) and that it is ok and normal for me to go slow, take my time and just enjoy it. They are also incredibly relaxing to watch. Plus I get to watch and learn from you how to make the different strokes for different effects, so often in timelapse it is just boom suddenly there is a cloud.

I think this painting is just like being in the wildernes. Like how you outline a bear just with a psintbrush and how you jump around doing different areas off the painting and, it all comes together so beautifully

Today it felt like all the card were tumbling down. As i sit here in my car with so many things running through my mind, watching you paint this amazing landscape, i was transported somewhere else. Taken to a place i can only dream of seeing. You gave me a small window of respite, to get lost in the beauty and to imagine the words you put in the video vome to life. Came for the painting, stayed for the narrations. This is more than a drawing, it's pure magic. You can almost hear the sounds of nature and feel the surrounding ambient. It's like space and time merging into one. Not showing something just the way it is, but adding a personal impression is a great touch that makes your pieces uniquely beautiful and mesmerising.

The poetic scentences text, i bet, popped up in his head because of the deep meditative state you enyer just by looking at this painting. Now imagine being able to make this, the way the light makes the sky portray movement, the incredible composition and the most calming color palette. I woud work my ass off for two years just to buy this painting, cause I could never make something so pristine.
