Your design choices on this piece were spot on! I know it's hard to get that straight line so great job!!!! Thank you so much for participating in the challenge!
I This is really my favorite in this challenge. And so resourceful with the leather handles. The simplicity of the cabinet and the combination of paint and wood makes this an eye-catcher!
BEAUTIFUL Job Kara ❤ the Two tone 👍 ❤ the leather pulls So Great to See your daughter helping a hand 👍 So Good you Sold that piece 👍 Looking forward to the nxt piece . Have an Awesome day 😊
Girl! I’m seeing so many similarities with mine. 😄 I love the green color you chose and the leather handles. It’s beautiful! We also have the same striped overalls. ❤
Kara that piece turned out so beautifully. I love what you did with the paint and then the bleached wood. The handles really helped set it apart. Loved it. Your daughter is adorable. She’ll be doing her own flipping in no time. Baby lemon flipper. Great job as usual.
Gonna try the paper bag trick on my next project and I liked the leather strap handles! As for the final over all look...to each there own and proven true by the sale!
Beautiful flip! Great job! I wish you had shown how you repaired the drawer glides because they didn’t look like they were aligning very well prior to painting.
Awesome! We are a homeschool family, too! We live in the country and have horses, chickens, etc. Us homeschoolers always include our kids in the work that’s involved in our stuff. Great job on your furniture! I might try something like this with my youngest next summer when it’s warmer up here in Michigan 💕
What a fabulous look !!! I love that color green from Dixie Belle ! Love the 2-tone and leather handles. Beautiful job ! So jealous your daughter got to use the paint strayer ! LOL!!!! Nice nice work!
I have almost thrown the towel in on stripping furniture before, but it takes a couple tries and some good stripper. You picked a beautiful combo on this transformation, very nice!
Nice makeover, but i think solid wood shouldn't be painted. There are so many good looking stains to bring out the full beauti of the natural wood. In natural colors the dresser would look way better, but good work anyway.
That dresser is totally a mess haha!!! I guess it worked out perfectly that you kept it for this challenge!!! i would have done the same as you and just sanded it too! I love bleaching wood to lighten it!! i love that green!!! your helper is so cute!!! She is doing great!! Great job momma teaching her!!! i Just loe it!!! turned out soooo good!!! great profit!!!!
So beautiful! I’m hooked on your channel. Just discovered you today. This is the second video I have watched and I have learned so much that I have never seen before. The paper bag sanding tip…excellent! Thank you!
Very nice job. I have never used a sprayer because I’m afraid of getting paint into my lungs and it seems like you also waste a lot of paint. I guess for a very even finish it does a good job.
With all my respect ma'am, why are you painting this cabinet mostly green after all the work stripping it down. Maybe I'm too old fashioned because I like to see wood grains. But your result is nice.
Looks great. informative as always, but two questions. Do you need to thin the Dixie Belle paint and what size tip are you using in your sprayer. Glad to see it's a total family affair.
Hi Lonnie! Thanks for watching! I did not thin the paint and I use the tip that came with the sprayer. After years of buying these I found I don’t need any other size. Thanks for watching!
Your work is always spot on! I am amazed at the sales you are able to make. I am assuming it’s due to being in a large city like Dallas. I live in a rural area of W. NC I don’t think I could sell pieces for those prices.

I personally did not like the finish product. Not my style. The two tone wood/paint is a fad. I suppose someone will buy it, but they will soon regret it. Also, I would fear parts of the painted area would peel because the sanding was inadequate. I think the refurb artist needed a quick sale. Or did I hear there was a contest? Ugh. I would never have bought it. Good luck with the next piece.

Hello 👋, how are you doing today; how’s everything; hope it was a wonderful day for you!
This is beautiful. Great work by you all. So sweet.
Very nice job. I just thought the green could have been a little less intense, IMHO.
Such a great look. Definitely better than the before and how the manufacturer presented it 💖💖💖
Beautiful flip! Great job! I wish you had shown how you repaired the drawer glides because they didn’t look like they were aligning very well prior to painting.
They were actually just off the track. A little furniture wax and realignment was all it took!
So beautiful! ❤
Thank you! 😊
It’s beautiful!
You almost lost me on the leather handles, but they ended up looking pretty good!
It's beautiful
That’s gorgeous ❤️❤️
That's lovely!
I love what you did - the dipped look is amazing

Thanks so much!
Great flip! Beautiful. And I hope your daughter enjoyed helping she did a great job 🌷
Love it! Great job
Came out beautiful and WOW, you did great on the amount you sold her for! Bravo!
Great you saved it from the landfill so upsetting to see furniture wasted .surely they sell quicker if you don't do weird paint jobs though.
Is this a weird paint job? Sold in 6 hrs with multiple offers so if it’s considered weird…I guess Dallas likes it 😂
I think that is so cool!
Love it
Love what you do. ❤️
Thank you so much Rosalie! I really appreciate you!
Very nice!
It looks so good, I’d definitely have it in my home! 🎉
Excellent
Do you find the overspray from the poly affects the drawer slides performance?
Hello 👋, how are you doing today; how’s everything; hope it was a wonderful day for you!
Great job.
Fun-tastic ! Ralf Lauren meets cabin / mountains nice to show some oak .Andremember kids 2 tone is your freind 😁

Wow Kara this handles killing me! I love so much on this piece looks amazing! I will try I love it ❤️❤️
Where do you get your design inspirations?
Love that color and how your daughter helped in the process. You all are a great furniture flipping family!
Nice makeover, but i think solid wood shouldn't be painted. There are so many good looking stains to bring out the full beauti of the natural wood. In natural colors the dresser would look way better, but good work anyway.
I agree! But I guess it is easier to paint it and sells better.
Yep! Sells better!

Great turn out.. Do you get a lot of trash in the paint and clear coat while spraying?
No I don't. I usually don't have any problems. Thanks for watching!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Definitely need to wear a good respirator

Why didn’t you rehydrate with water and scrub it off??
It sat outside in the heat for at least a month according to the previous owner. I don’t think there was anything to rehydrate.
❤

How do you sell? eBay? Booth?
Just FBM
I'm wondering, how much time does it take you do edit and go thru taped videos and put them together?
I’m guessing you used to do ballet or gymnastics??? You stand with your feet turned out. I do too. Still.
Love the piece.

I’m wondering if a 3M masker might be of help to you.
I really like the RZ Masks that I use in most of my videos. Thanks for watching!
@@LemonstoLemonadeFurniture It's not a face mask. It's a taping system for drawers. Look up 3m masker 3000
@@ronreposa4893 oh yes!! That looks really cool! I would totally use one of those. I need to look for that.
So disappointed that you painted. That wood grain is amazing and with a solid wood piece you could have totally restored this piece. 😭
I just discovered I’m not a leather pull person.
Lol well…it is a different look for sure

Not a fan of the weird paint line. Cuts the drawer in half visually. $400!! Where ARE you selling flips like that!?
Dallas, Tx. Sold in about 30 min. The market here lives unique pieces
Ma'am can you please tell me how old your daughter is.
