For light metering, any light metering app for iPhone works. I currently use ASLightmeter just because it’s free, but you can use any other. It is really not an important thing, guys.
Why did you take recordings of the model’s skin and yours too?
@@alikhan_a my guess is that it's to help get an average and prevent having to ask Bianca to move around to different lighting conditions when Ed could just get a reading from his own skin anyway. They are similar tones, after all.
@@mysfiring For sure? I thought he metered his watch at first, and there's some secret in his watch. ahah
@@mysfiring that's exactly the reason. I checked and we both gave the same reading, so to prevent rechecking every time she moved to a shadow or one side of her face was a bit darker, I used my hand to simulate those light conditions so I bother her as little as possible. sticking a phone to somebody else's face is not a nice thing to do, no matter what you are doing with it! haha

2:22 una maravilla esa foto, ni con el iPhone 11 Pro Max Plus Ultra en modo retrato ni el Huawei con 40 mpx cinema sensor te saca algo así ... que lejos está todavía la tecnología digital de las cámaras analógicas, aunque es un dolor de huevos los rollos, calcular la luz, apertura, tiempo de exposición, etc.etc...

Another corker of a video Ed. I really want a set of Rollinars for my Rolleiflex 2.8e (Xenotar), but the right ones don't seem to come up very often and are pretty expensive when they do!
amigo, si sobrexpones una diapo vencida sólo lograrás sobrexponerla, eso es para los negativos, las diapos no se velan/pierden sensibilidad con esa facilidad y si lo hacen, sobrexponer no es la solución porque sigue teniendo esa característica de la diapo :) (y claro, buenísimas fotos como siempre)

Quisiera hacerte una consulta. Siempre he querido una Rolleiflex, más aún viendo este tipo de videos y lo que puedes conseguir. En mi ciudad hay un fotógrafo de los viejitos que está vendiendo una: es la que viene con el 75mm 3.5 Opton. La cámara se ve en muy buen estado, sin embargo, el señor dice que no dispara si es que no se ha cargado la película, ¿es cierto esto? La cámara la quiere vender por 150 dólares, lo cuál me parece un buen precio.
sí, es cierto. sin película no dispara. hay un montón de versiones de la Rollei 3.5, revisa cuál es, pero si está en buenas condiciones, el precio esta bien aún si es un modelo antiguo.

Es una correa china que venden en eBay, porque el original Rolleiflex cuesta una millonada y no tiene sentido. no recuerdo el modelo, pero es cosa de buscar. :)

the pictures are amazing, what year did you film expire? I have the same film, Exp 2004 and I bought it on ebay, it wasn't cold stored and it came out all magenta hahaha. Great Pictures
