I strong believe of working of your front foot on your way in, both would be better movers if they through more punches in bubchs, not all have to be hard just putting something in front of each other's vision, sitting waiting on the ropes fr your opponent then wen he's get in make him pay with mixed combos maybe one loaded, prefibly on you front foot, otherwise if not tieing him up afer few shots or get out of corner or on the ropes look fr the centre of the ring again i believe giving away points to your opponent so you can land one 2 stiffer punchs before you know it your behind on points and opponents confidence has built and your feel like your climbing a mountain to get bac into it, I dnt know the boys are amateur's or pros?, if amateur's thier work rate is more about landing as many clean punches as can in short time less rounds if professionals using thier feet more to control distance balance timing workmate having something out thier as much as you somewhere in around your opponents vision, , I'd love to see boys fight pro someday if you they aren't already, ok seeing punches but you dnt have to wear them as much, that can lead to unhealthy habits to be created, stay lighter on your feet, flick out the jabs shifting your leveup and dwn chin tucked inl opening up your opponent get them to feel mental pressure, not knowing where the next punches might be coming from, however both boys moving nicely and the type sparring enables each other to try new things without to.much damage, food fr thought, well done, lovya work👊🏾🙏🏿💜

my coach talked about people who fight like this people. he said, whats the point in being a good fighter if you get someone hit you. you stand so close to him and you trade punches. he said no jump back go to the side, move ur head keep ur guard up. why do you let him punch you. and i know someojne is gonna talk shit about him. so here is some fact, our boxing club is the best in our country, our coach was gonna go to the olympics but couldnt bc he didnt have the passport, he have coached i think the afgani somalien national team and one more. what and we have people in the national team who beat the scandinavian champion with no probelm, we had a guy who fought in portugal and just lost to a formal world champion or he was the world champion, by points. so he knows what he is talking about

Dude in purple bites on first feint and drop both hands. Not high level here. Both are there to be hit. Loading up, bad footwork, too heavy on front foot and over lead knee. Tells on jabs no defense built in. These guys are trash

Both of these fighters have that new school type of boxing very particular to the mexican-style, very Canelo-ish. I think they both take too many shots but purple headgear is closer to hit and not get hit. Any thoughts?

    • @popiwatv

It's amateur boxing. The goal is activity. Not dodging every punch. The pocket is the golden zone. You're gonna get hit, just accept it. Get hit less, unless you really outmatch your opponent. Amateur boxing uses Olympic style scoring. Aggressiveness and punches thrown/landed wins the match. Pro boxing is scored differently. Which is why you see pro boxers moving and carefully picking punches. There's no time for that in this style of boxing. You'll lose on the scorecard.
