I just tuned my bike with the pv4. I used the free tune that was sent in an email. When you turn the bike to run, do you need to hit the kill switch ? I did. I hope i did it right. They really should supply instructions with the tuner.

That’s because they’ve been on before I started making videos 🤣 but I absolutely love it, I had one on my 2014 Street Glide as well. Definitely would recommend it 🤙🏻
I have a 22 883 sportster and i installed the S&S hooligan kit with cams and they told me to use the pv4 tuner to start it and i cant get the tune for it, i need to find someone to email me the tune to add it and i cant find one anywhere.
It would be like a software update, it would replace that tune. If for whatever reason you wouldn’t like it, you could just flash it back with your SE tuner

Can a PV4 be installed on a 2022 freewheeler and newer.
Only issue with the PV4 is that is can only be used with narrowband O2.

After initial purchase do you have to still buy a license to your vin?
No . Original purchase includes license. New license only needed to tune a second bike and so on

Where did you find out about their stage definitions? I got no instructions with mine

I use a thundermax. Dynojet is pretty good though. As long as it’s flashed and it works good and unleashes the horses!

Are there different options for maps to tune onto the bike for stage 2 or is it one general map?
I haven’t played around much, because I don’t have a cam, however it looks like there’s 2 maps per cam based off of 2-2 exhaust or 2-1 exhaust.

Not that I’m aware of, but all good things take time. I’m sure there’s plenty of kinks to work through

you log into your account on your new phone. all of your tunes are stored in cloud, and in your phone if you want it.

The PV is limited to only stage 1 tunes. Useless for real stages 2 thru 4.
