Nice work. I just purchased a dome shaped polycarbonate mold. Tried a few bon bons. I understood by your videos how to do make them. But i didn't let mold set on the edge long enough. Temp was also above 70 degrees in my kitchen. I was still proud of the ones that suvived.. I will name them 5am Bon Bons from now becuase of the time I will make them will be cooler . I haven't seen any with a coconut filling.yet. Every one I have seen were rolled up by hand and then dipped in chocolate. Thank You for your talent and skills .
Beautiful work, as always, and you’re such a great teacher! Apologies if I missed it, but how did you make the blue color? Is it self-mixed or purchased?
I think this comment went to the next video maybe? What color is the blue you’re looking for? My best guess is that it is a chef rubber precolored cocoa butter because those are my favorite! If you find the video it’s on I link each color I use! If not send me another comment with the specifics and I can help! 🙃
@@BrittneeKay hi. I can’t figure out how to attached the photo but it’s the blue and white you show briefly at the end that you did for someone’s wedding? 💜
Ohhh right! Now I remember, I showed that design at the end. Oh yes, that color I mixed custom to match the wedding color exactly. All colors were Chef Rubber cocoa butters and I believe I used a mix of battleship grey, regal blue, and a little retro red.@@CheriBenfield
May i ask, when you paint the pink layer on, after its made, does it affect the taste? Im still learning, and afraid of using to much, or how much is to much. ❤ Edit: afraid that using to much colored Cocoa butter, that it will possibly leave a funny taste in my mouth.
On these particular ones I didn't notice a flavor...but people definitely do sometimes! And I will say that there are some cocoa butter colors that have a flavor more than others. I recommend using an airbrush as well because it creates a thinner coating, which will help with any colors that add a little flavor. Hand painting naturally will create a bit of a thicker cocoa butter layer. Great question!

Not sure what you mean exactly, but I translate my captions into many different languages for my viewers. I also would like to kindly remind you that I share all of this information with my followers essentially for free, in fact, I spend more money than I make on this. If you want to request a language I will gladly add it in the captions.

Try this one out and tag me on Instagram @brittneekaybakes. I want to see which colors you choose! 🤩
