I subscribed and liked with notifications on ma’am! I’m a 11th grade student in high school and I want to be a teacher😃📚. Your classroom is amazing! Also, what is your restroom procedures🚽? I got 2 teachers who let us at appropriate times with sign in/out sheet. The other two teachers do 3 restroom passes per 9 weeks. Kids in my classes would abuse this privilege to get out of class for like 5 minutes and don’t actually use it😭🤦🏻♂️. I use the restroom during lunch, before/after school, and passing periods and I stay well hydrated😂. I never abused the privilege I only ask if I really need to go and most of the time I can hold it till break. I can’t wait for future content on your channel!

My bathroom procedures are pretty much anyone can use it as long as I’m not of teaching the main part of the lesson because i don’t want them to miss anything. But other than that I let them go. We have a sign out sheet that they use too! What do you want to teach?

Do you enjoy teaching the grade level you chose or do you think you will ever teach elementary or high school in the future? Another question I have is if you had to do your schooling all over again would you still have chosen to be a teacher or another career path, was it worth it in your opinion? These are just worries and questions that I have for when I begin my path to become a teacher, that I might go through all the schooling and not end up happy with my career choice.
L K I love teaching middle school. I started out wanting to do high school and then elementary and then realized i really like middle. SO many people told me not to be a teacher and let me tell you there are some days that I struggle but most days I absolutely love my job. Honestly the kids make it ALL worth it. You truly have to love the students and love building relationships with them. I don’t think I would do this forever, i want to get my masters to go into counseling maybe. We’ll see! What are your plans right now?

You really cleared up a lot of my concerns and giving me a personal perspective from you on your career, I’m currently a senior in high school and in 2020 fall I’m starting college to begin the process of becoming a elementary teacher, but I just had a bunch of concerns and questions about the reality of being a teacher, but videos like these help so much with me being able to see what I could potentially be doing in the future! Kylie Danielle xo And I can definitely relate to the part of people telling you not to become a teacher, every time I mention what I want to do so many people say “it doesn’t pay well” or “kids aren’t the same as they were, they have no respect” or other discouraging things but I honestly love the idea of teaching it gets me excited for my future.
