It looks amazing! Your students are so lucky
Josie Campbell Thank you very much! ❤️
This classroom was absolutely fabulous. I hope the school I’m going to this year will have classes like this.
where were you when I was in high school? My English classroom was depressing as hell.
Kal T Looks like she has a wealthy husband. 😉That stuff is expensive!!! I’m a teacher and I can’t afford that stuff!!! I wish I could!! Her classroom is awesome!!!! I can certainly try to use some of these ideas though!!
Aries Leo rising uhh lol no... her husband is a teacher too
What a cool class layout! When students switch seating areas, do they stay with the same group of people, or do you mix them up?
Danika Leigh Ellis Yes, they stay with the same group- this has also become part of our classroom community building, as their groups are in a fun competition for participation points... When certain students need a particular seat for any reason (IEP, 504, etc) I just make adjustments as we rotate seats each week...
I love your room and your channel!
Your class looks great I love it
I love your room so much!
Omg i love babies... They are sooo CUTE😩🥺🤍🤍🤍
Love your classroom layout. Wish I could do something like that too, but my classroom is so small. 😭😭
You have such an awesome classroom design and I love the flexible seating system!
I love your classroom!
Sending love all the way from the Bahamas!
My MAIN inspiration now! Amazing ideas here.

Super cool classroom set up!! 😎

Love!! This is a beautiful classroom! 😄👍🏾
Awesome! I love the seating!
Hi! I was curious what you do when it comes to testing. I have been wanting to implement flexible seating in my classroom but was told that I would need to be able to have desks for every individual student when it comes to state testing. Just curious on how you handle that!
What I'm thinking of doing in my classroom is implement flexible seating in a way that can easily be shifted into testing-appropriate desks. So I would use the desks and chairs of the school but arrange them in a unique way (even perhaps if I have the budget for it add some table plants/tablecloths etc to make it pretty). So when it's time for testing the tables just move into the rows that testing requires
I want to be a student in your class! So inspiring. Have you used the lesson with "Lenses in Literature"? If so, I'd love to know how it went!
I know this comment was posted a while back but it's my first year teaching and would like to learn everything I can. What are these lenses in literature and what resources could I find to learn more?
Thanks,

Love it! so so cute! Loving the flexible seating! wish I could make it happen in my classroom!
Question: with your flexible seating options do you ever have kids tell you that they work better at one of the stations than the other? If yes, do you allow them to stay there as long as it’s productive or do you continue to rotate them with their group? Just curious because I know for me I probably would do better with the structure of the same seat every day (thanks mild OCD) and if I had to keep changing desks it would probably be very distracting. I’m not a teacher just a curious bystander. Great video and thank you for all that you do!
Kayley White my ADHD son is the same way. He needs the same seat everyday. We have it in his IEP....luckily our school haven’t jump on the flexible seating bandwagon.
Nichole Bird Good to heat I’m not alone. I do like the idea of having an alternative seating arrangement but I worry about those who need the consistency of the SAME seat alternative or no. I remember in school always having to readjust after a seat change and it was horribly distracting.
I do have a few students who have IEPs and need a certain seat, and they are able to stay in those seats because I have extra space for overflow in certain areas. Some students have also found that there are some places they CAN’T be productive, and we are able to make those adjustments... Basically, I’m ok with the seating chart being a bit fluid if I’m able to give kids options to suit their needs 👌
Classroom goals!
What a beautiful classroom Marie 💕 I love how you named these seating areas. Did you cost out how much of your personal money you put in to decorating. Just curious. 💕
“What do you think?”
*walks away*
What are your bookshelves in the back made out of? Looks like boards and blocks stacked on top?
I've been wanting to ask this for the longest time and I hope you get to see this even though I'm commenting on almost a year old video but what do you do when it's time for a state testing? Or even actual test where you're supposed to put the desk in rows?
hey could you tell me the link to the annotation cheat sheet
i love it
I wish I had that classroom
What a cute troll doll... awesome.
Btw neat idea of note to self subscribe. First person I see that does that. That's awesome and not annoying.
Love it!
Definitely wouldn’t have slack in English if I had a class layout like this......I would have definitely paid more attention in English my 10th-12th grade yr
Are they annotation cards in your TPT store???
Rachel Lacy They are!! My shop is called Caffeinated Curriculum 😉
