I love this doll set as well and they’re on my list of dolls to acquire in the future 😊 I’ve always thought they were cute and seeing them in your review makes my perception of them even stronger 😌 While they’re based on the 2008 movie actors, the essence of the original ‘60s characters is still felt in the concept design and fashion pieces 😌 I’m a sucker for a good doll face and this 2008 male face is one of my favorites 💗 And Trixie is absolutely adorable and perfect for the Christina Ricci look 😉 I’m so glad you got these dolls for your collection and hopefully someday you’ll get a race car to display with them to complete the esthetic ✨💖✨
@@Ms.D-loves-minis3 I’m glad you love them too, Donna! 😊 I’ve always wanted this set but I could never find a good price for this. But during one of my hunts, finally found them from an Alibaba seller in China. The price was really good too, it was hard to resist! 😆
great review and super cute couple of dolls for sure! yea, you can see that crackling in the bends of the elbows :(. I feel like the fashions in this material are almost 'ephemera' because this disintegration starts after like 2 years, i feel. i also love the cocktail background music you have in this video! what is it? Id want to have this playing in my home while sipping coffee
@@BooksnBarbies Thanks! 😊 Yeah faux leather is always so cumbersome to keep pristine and strong. But I’ve learned that you can delay the disintegration by putting the garment in a humid-free environment. Personally, I put my dolls wearing faux leather near a dehumidifier or desiccants and they really help delay the garment from destroying itself. I’m glad you like the soft jazz music! It’s actually from RUclips’s creator studio and you can download it here for free. They’re also royalty-free so you can use them in videos without any penalties. The one I’m using here on this video is called “Walk Through the Park.”

I didn't know this series was based on anime. Midge looks like an anime girl, and this Ken is really handsome with rooted hair.

Rainbow High Color Change Car Convertible Vehicle Would be a nice car for your dolls.
@@brandi17h Thank you so much for the suggestion! I just googled it…it looks so cool! 😯 I have to check if Barbies and Ken’s can fit inside though
