A voltage level indicator is a circuit which can show if the voltage input into a circuit is greater than a certain threshold level If a zener diode has a breakdown voltage of 5.1V, after 5.1V or greater is applied to it, it will conduct current across it which can then power on a load.

I would like to suggest something to connect with this project. You could make connect a charger and a auto stop charging. This will be my upgrade to the project. Keep doing this type of simple projects. It will be better from complicated most people doing.

Most of the current goes to the green led and the yellow led first because it’s closest to the battery in the paralle circuit. Try having red, yellow and green led in parallel while the red led is closer to the input and output terminals and the green led is the farthest

To measure current, or the density of electrons per time, you need a multimeter in "10A", "20A" (depends) in series with positive. Or a clamp meter.

excessive power loss due to resistors. use transistor based control for low power consumption
It mat loss of excessive power but very very little and this deficiency can b removed if u use 1st 2 resistors 1.5k instead of 1k

I think, you should solder these LED in reverse: input>> RED, RED, Yellow, Green! If he use 1K resistor, that mean we measure current devided by 100 wich is 10v like in this video. If we measure 24v, we will use 2,4K resistor. For 5v, 500ohm! 100ohm per one Volt! Thanks.

Yeah, just change the video name / explanation of what's happening. As others have pointed out: this does not measure current. This project is not an ammeter. It would show remaining volts in a cell. ... which I don't believe it's hooked up to. I think it's hooked up to an adjustable power source

You didn't mentioned the use of the Circuit, whitch volt battery to be checked.
This indicates proportional to voltage from 0-10v
Generally battery is 0% at 2-3volts down the full voltage

This is a circuit which should not be used for measuring both voltage and current. Do mesh and nodal analysis will get the response.

Yes u can use more resistor
But as the voltage increases, the first led is going to get more and more current, while the last led will get reduced voltage, from all of the previous vf from the other leds.
The last led will get like 6 volts less than the first one.
