    Another great video. I love how informative your channel is. It would be easy for you to just release jams that we all wish we could do, but you choose to also share the knowledge. So massive respect and big thanks!

    Ricky just wanted to say that your compact creation videos (even those not named such) are incredibly inspiring. Even to those of us with large Eurorack systems that are drowning in modules and options, it is nice to see a minimal set of modules to bring a bit of focus. Thanks.

    I saw “mum m8” and remembered Mumdance’s radio show on Rinse where he announced this module . Good memories and lots of good releases.

    Took my first step into Eurorack thanks to your videos and went for this palette case set up and I’ve lost whole days jamming on it with the LIP. For anyone looking at this, you do need external drums (DFAM works well and you can steal it’s two oscillators ) unless you just want baselines, but this thing totally rocks in a small system.
    Great video as always!

    LIP is probably one of my favorite things Noise Engineering has done. I've been playing around with feeding its output into Rings, which I strongly recommend everyone try

    Always learn a lot about Modular Synthesis from your videos. I've just started really patching together modules and actually creating sounds from the few I've bought so far and it's frustrating at first { self taught /still learning Modular } . No classes offered where I live and closest store that sells anything modular is 2 1/2 hours away and I don't drive. So I read and watch MANY videos on Eurorack , Modular demos etc...So thank you for helping me with understanding it a bit more thru your videos. Ciao ~ 🎹🐾💡🔥🐒

    FWIW I first got the LIP and it was just such a gnarly thing and really hard for me to get anything useable out of it, so I understand that guy thinking you were brave for bringing it. Granted, I'm still new to Modular so I think i may have bit off more than I could chew with such an advanced piece of kit.Then I got an MCO and got bored of it real quick and just got a regular Loquelic Iteritas and find it a lot easier to get workable sounds out of it. I'm using it with an Acidbox 3 as an LPG and I find it a lot more useable and easier to work with while still being able to get the insanity out of it that I like since I'm limited to how many envelope CVs I can use. However, now that I got some hours under my belt I may want to give the LIP or even a CIP a try again.

    I own a few Noise Engineering modules. I like them. I wonder if they'll ever do any voices where there's a rotary or "take-over" style encoders and voices that allow the storage of settings? They are digital modules so it's possible. There are some really fine lines between a garbage sound and one that really smokes. Sometimes finding that exact setting combination again is nearly impossible. It would be great to discover something very nice and at least revisit your settings. Maybe NE could create a second line of their voice modules that do things like that? A two digit LED that goes from 00 to 99 with four buttons: up, down, load, and save would work with a SD card slot to back-up settings or possibly trade settings between users or virtualizations in software.

      Don't get me wrong, Matt, with your passive aggressive comment. I like Ricky's videos. A lot. But we can cool it with the intros and all the other things (like and subscribe, and don't forget to hit the bell) that RUclipsrs do.
      Just creating the conversation so people like Ricky are aware. If he doesn't care, no biggie. I'm not seeing how your comment adds any value though.

    • @pizmeyre5055
      @pizmeyre5055 4 года назад

      @@_0O0O0O0_ Some of that stuff they absolutely HAVE to do. RUclips's algorithm is firmly on the Wack side of the Space.
      You gotta mention like, subscribe, and bell to make sure viewers old and new will keep getting your videos when you release a new one.
      Unless you are an established mainstay like Jenna Marbles. She could make chipmunk noises for 15 minutes a week and people would still watch her.
      Myself included. :)

    ...and at the very end of a very long and painful "jamming" one can discover a quite banal house beat

    • @mcblahflooper94
      @mcblahflooper94 4 года назад

      That's a bit reductionist I think, the beat has cool textures and while the rhythm itself is a bit traditional/'generic', show me a room shaking techno or house song that isn't... dance rhythms fuel the flexability to do additional creative things on top
