Outstanding Work 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thank you for clarification of the rules!
Great recap. Thanks.
Outstanding videos
Thanks for explanation, going to UK Grand Prix next month in Manchester to see how things have changed.
Thanks!
Thank you
As for now I've seen better fights, and a lot more usage of both feet, less fencing fighting, more attitude, the return of the spinning kicks and competitors looking to win since the first round 👍🏼, I think in general this new set of rules is gonna be good for the sport.
She has a one degree black belt. Alex is my teacher, although that means she can teach people too. I love her channel. I have a yellow belt in taekwondo (weak)..... I now now muy tai and wing Chung.
3rd degree
Thanks for correcting me....
DEGREE IS NOT IMPORTANT THE IMPORTANT HOW YOU KO YOU OPPONENT
I think the new rules are better than the previous ones...😘👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
There are pros and cons to the new set of rules. I personally feel overall the new rules are beneficial to making the sport aspect of taekwondo better. But some changes could obviously be made to even further it in the long run. I personally love the best of three style. 1- it makes fighters who are up a lot in round 1 still have to work in round 2/3 if they want to win. And 2- it gives the competitor who loses round 1 a chance for a comeback and different mentality. Kinda like "ok i lost round 1, but now its a new round and im still in it and we start from 0 again." Definitely has helped me in matches where my first round i was getting warmed up and they didnt go well.
As for the 2 kick rule, so glad they brought it back tk 3 in September. Mainly because at the east grand prix for my division, the ref of my first two fights was calling almost EVERY time that we only kicked twice in the air which should have been ok. So dont ask me why but they were doing it for both competitors 🤷♀️ after round 1 we both kinda learned that we could only kick once in the air to be on safe side with gam jeoms.
Will these new rules take awhile to get adjusted to and are other people reacting to the new rules.🥋😁
I have fought in two tournaments with the new rules. The first time we both won round and round third was still tie e we didn’t score at all, so they check everything we were still tied. We had to go to a show of hands so it pays to be aggressive if you want to win the match
Thanks Alex. Whew! It will take 1 season of tournaments to get used to this. ❤️👍
Not really. One championship and you´ll get used to these new rules.
recent change is that ut is 3 kicks not 2 in air before putting foot down.
Hi madam. I have joined taekwondo, from India
Oh so your saying comes down to round and overall point total overall I hope you are doing well and that your Achilles are 100 percent. I definitely want to see you back sparring in taekwondo and doing what you love to do the most.🥋😁👍🙏🏿
umm....overall it's a net positive I'd say.
Thanks for the update.
Great
The past tkd times is focusing in hurting each other, but nowadays tkd is just focusing in electronic scoring
Taekwondo has never been like that.
@@Ricardo-cp2lu you are wrong. Tkd at old days are dinamic. You dont know because you haven't tried the old school tkd
Yep, "Trembling Shock" was the standard.@@jubilkalunxag5588
Make a video with example please
Just curious do you know how the scoring in takedown sparing works for youth
Oh how i really wish that the old school return
So if you win 1st 2 rounds is there no 3rd round?
Thanks sis I am taekwondo girl
How'd I know this would be WT? It's never ITF anymore.
Alex is still Gorgeous 😍
Mam iam a taekwondo player and red one belt i want to ask tha iam having harmstring strain so how can i recover or can i do practice
Ice and stretch hamstring lightly
Just let it rest for a week
😍😊😊😊
Taekwondo patch notes
hopefully high level wt sparring will become more interesting again. Olympics are so boring
Quite honestly the new set of rules is kinda stupid not gonna lie. Plus the ref has too much involvement than they should be. Should be also noted that certain kicks aren’t involved anymore like the scorpion or a kick around the behind the head, monkey kick like to the trunk has also been ousted.Just some of the things I know from a friend who fought at Paris.

The current state of WTF TKD is a shame...bunch of points for highly non-effective and ridiculously looking pseudo-kicks to the head...in my time, and in the TKD I still teach and train, a kick to the head was almost always a knock out...at the last Olympics, I rather watched Karate...
Karate has a pretty boring competitive sparring rules, but as a martial art it's much more complete than taekwondo.
And TKD hasn't been a KO-based sport for a long time.
Old school TKD was the best!

Holy sh..! Back to old school!
Nuclear physics is easier to learn than the new rules. TKD is getting worse and worse!
Honestly i dont like the new rules because it ruined my fighting style😂😂😂 but the new rules is making the taekwnodno to be more agressive and to look like a real martial arts
😖😖 only 3 air kicks @ a time!? Sheesh
It’s like penalizing boxers for evading techniques rather than standing up to them n blocking. Takes away from the challenge. Every fighter is different and has technique that works for them. No punches to the face now no more air kicks 🤣
You can't kick more than 3 times without dropping your foot? Thats so stupid! I'm a kind of fighter that can kick 10 times or more without dropping my foot
...which proves you're not a real fighter.
Please make video in Urdu 🙂
These rules are dumb.
