Jelena holds it for so long while David talks!!!!!! And then she starts talking - no strain in her voice - no breathlessness! Your strength is amazing!!!!
These tutorial videos are absolutely golden! I always get so many useful insights that I can directly apply to the practice and overcome those less obvious vinyasas and asanas, like getting out of Bhujapidasana, which I'm still working on and didn't fully understand how. Thank you 🙏
Jelena what a beautiful practice you have! Thank you David for your expert way of breaking very complex moves down into chunks we can practice with. My teacher used to say you just practice til you do it - one day it will happen. Your breakdown gives my brain body coordination the extra help i need to practice in the right way that will make me stronger not get me injured.
Superb tutorial! I showed this one to my 60 year old mom who was struggling to lift the legs off the floor and now she is able to hold with legs off the floor for 3 seconds!
thanks for the videos, guys! they are always very informative and helpful! maybe some tips on bandhas would be nice. I find it one of the most difficult parts of the practice...
Thank you, this was helpful! 🙏 I would love to hear from you guys about some tips on how to jump back from bakasana into chaturanga. It's kind of a struggle for me :)
Hi! I really love your videos. I introduced your tips in my practice and it really improved!! Thank you very much for your amazing job! Could you do a video on kurmasana preparation/modifications, please?? Thank you ❤
Thank you for all you videos. I would really like to see tutorials on how to avoid pain in you shoulders and neck and how to place you feets in standing positions :)
You guys are the best! Do you have a video tutorial on stepping through to low lunge without getting stuck? I looked and couldn’t find one. Would love that if you don’t already!
Beautifully explained once again. Thank you for sharing the knowledge! Your videos on youtube and IG are very helpful to my practice 💗 I'd love to watch you explaining the jump throughs and jump backs and the jump back from Bakasana . 🙏
Hi David and Jelena!!! Once again this is a fantastic and useful videotutorial. I can say that for me this posture is a challenging one. I hope getting it one day 😜
Love Jelenas practice and Davids explanations! This really helped me in getting the jump. I am now able to jump and touch chin, but going back to baladama is a challenge because i have a short torso and long legs, and the legs seem very low on the arms. Do you have any tips for that?
Hey David and Jelena, thank you so much for this tutorial! You always have helpful advice, and it's really nice to see how you two work together so well ❤ A feedback if I may: Being a yoga teacher myself, I experience that the first challenge for students in bhujapidasana is usually being able to stay upright on the hands and not just fall back on their bum haha! And you're not really dressing this challenge in your tutorial. I guess it makes sense from an ashtanga point of view though because when you reach bhujapidasana in ashtanga, you're already a relatively advanced student right? Secondly, the jumping forward and going straight into bhujapidasana without putting the feet on the floor first, hast been a mystery for me for years, and still is, and I've kind of given up on it. Maybe you would have some tips for that one as well? 🙏
Hi, I love you both so much, you always ask what we wanna seer in your channel and here's my petition. I find very confusing drihsti during surya namaskard A and B. I'd like to see it filmed from the front, I don't get what "gaze at the tip of your nose"is, when I'm doing upward facing dog I don't know if I have to do that gaze during the whole movement, and in surya namaskard B that and the flow of breath I find it very confusing, if you could deconstruct that in a video I would very much appreciate it, because I think sun salutations are very difficult to do ok, there is so much happening. Thank you foir your hard work
Thanks so much for your feedback. We have been asked for a Sun Salutation breakdown before so we have already filmed a tutorial :) Stay tuned for it to be posted in the next few weeks!
You may need to build up upper body strength by making poses such as Chaturanga Dandasana and Kakasana (Crow Pose). Do some sun salutations outside the series such as exercises. Do your sun salutations properly, it will help you increase your upper body strength, improve your balance/arm balance/jump back & jump through. Sun salutation is a beautiful exercise in itself when it does it the right way. If your upper body is strong enough to support a healthy Chaturanga Dandasana, you probably don’t need any more arm strength than you already have.
Hi David and Jelena IM a new subscriber ...i have a question ..i do yoga for almost 6 years ...till now i still can't do crow pose or any other arms balance ...can you guys tell me what to do to get arms balance ..sorry for my bad English Thank you ...
Thank you for uploading this video! I'm still learning this posture and the base of my knuckles always seem to lift up off the floor. Does it take away any of the strength required to be able to do this posture? 😅
Hi Louise, thanks for watching and commenting. So yes, when you lift your knuckles it not only takes away some of your strength but it also puts more pressure onto the outer edge of your wrist which can lead to injury so you want to avoid it. Hopefully this helps :)
Jelena holds it for so long while David talks!!!!!! And then she starts talking - no strain in her voice - no breathlessness! Your strength is amazing!!!!
Thank U for this very clear and useful video.

Lovely People. Positive energy. I'm one of their students, and I love it. Tomorrow workshop In-Person.
I will keep practicing without imitating the graceful movements of Jelena. Thank you for explaining this Asana, your channel is a gift. 🙏💐
These tutorial videos are absolutely golden! I always get so many useful insights that I can directly apply to the practice and overcome those less obvious vinyasas and asanas, like getting out of Bhujapidasana, which I'm still working on and didn't fully understand how. Thank you 🙏

Great suggestion! I don't think we've explicitly talked about that, but there might be something on it in the Suryanamaskara B video.
Beautifully explained once again. Thank you for sharing the knowledge!

Very helpful. I need help getting into and holding Setu Bandhasana. There is too many opinions and I would like to know the traditional format. ☺️
Great suggestion! We'll put out a tutorial for it soon :)
could you do a tutorial for garbha pindasana?

Hey Allan, Great suggestion. We'll look at making one soon! :)
@@DavidandJelenaYoga OK thank you
I've tried and honestly, it's not easy, and I know that I need to practice to build strong wrists.
I have pain around my elbow joints when doing this, any tips? Where to hold strength? Possible preps to mitigate?
wow

Is it correct to skip prasaritapadaottasana A and C one day B and D one day?
Hi! No they are taught and practiced as one set of postures (always A,B,C,D together)
🙏🥰
I struggle getting my forehead back up once it’s on the floor. Anyone have any tips or cues that worked for them?
🎉
How to have a flexible upper back.....
Even upward dog i have no flexibility especially urdva dhanurasana... So hard to press up arms splayed

I can’t keep my legs straight. And if I squeeze my legs then can’t really push myself down
why it seems like i will never manage to do this.
Its difficult, but possible with practice and the right technique :)
Love to see a crow tutorial
There's one here: ruclips.net/video/9jg6HtjZPsQ/видео.htmlfeature=shared
That female teacher still looks better with long hair. It's a waste to cut short hair for such a good-looking person.
