You should watch him on the Big Narstie show where him and the host spend the time roasting each other.. You'll see his brilliance in this because so quick witted
This is one of my favorite Jimmy Carr sets. Mostly because of the audience shots showing people not knowing how to take a joke, and the (most likely) Catholic man loudly booing the mockery of pedo's in his own religion. :)
Montreal is French Catholic heritage, possibly the most Catholic city in North America with the exception of Boston. If you make anti-Catholic remarks, you're gonna get someone firing back.
I have to say that Jimmy Carr is the best comedian I’ve seen live. Some of them kind of lose you as it goes on and it can get a bit boring or they go way way too far. But Jimmy is just joke after joke after joke. He is so so funny. You know what you’re going to get when you see him and he does t disappoint. If you guys ever get the chance to see him live please please go because you will not be disappointed at all. Xx
This is a short but legendary set for sure. Jimmy Carr's comedy, although shocking to some, is really just subverting expectations with extremely clever wordplay. He sets up the joke and when the punchline comes it never, ever what anyone expects. I've seen him live a couple of times and I've never laughed so hard. He delivers 3-4 jokes a minute for the entire set, so even if you didn't like one you don't have to wait long for the next.
You mention he should do a masterclass on comedy but he actually has in his books. He describes how human beings react to comedy in a very scientific way. There's a great video that he does with Tim Minchin in Canada and they all describe how comedy affects the brain. Really funny if you can find it.
I thought we'd lost you forever there Daniel with the tears and blood joke...you disappeared forever 🤣🤣🤣 glad it lubed you up for the rest of the clip hahaha
the worst part about the imagine the crowd naked bit and his hand actions .... there are alot of stand up comedians who made those actions in the past and noone realised.... 2 thumbs up .... is that instead of the 2 in the goo :p
I always type this about Jimmy, but there is a certain 1h+ interview with him here on YT that's incredible to watch because you get to see the quieter everyday mindset of his and he is a smart caring guy etc etc Great reaction, the shock factor of Jimmy is so high yet he's always just been 'these are jokes, people' so it seems he's been left alone and not really cancelled or anything to the best of my knowledge.
8 out of 10 does Countdown. He's a great standup, but in this show, he is also great as the host. Laughs throughout, apart from that Sean Lock is no longer available for it.
"He should teach courses!" As far as I knopw he doesn't, but he has written a couple of great books on comedy and how it works: "Only Joking" and "The Naked Jape".
Don’t take this the wrong way, but I love how these two, who look like they know where Jimmy Hoffa’s buried, can be shocked, appalled and reduced to fits of laughter by someone who looks like he should be taking coats at the Dorchester.
Top comic Jimmy Carr ,another Good British comedian you need to watch is Paul Smith at the Hot water comedy club. Paul is a scouser, from Liverpool,so you might need subtitles if you watch ,his whole routine revolves around the audience
Great reaction lads, your faces were a picture 😂😂 he likes to shock alright but that's his appeal, people aren't forced to see him or watch him they are frightened that they laughed or enjoyed it. Nice oneguys✌️🇬🇧✌️🇺🇸👏👏
His newest Netflix is good. And his talks with Jordan Peterson and Russel Brand give an insight into the person. Very intelligent and kind. But a very dark humor.
Hey guys, Any chance you could react to JACK SAVORETTI - BREAKING THE RULES (Acoustic version)? (black and white thumbnail) You'll love it! Trust me! (like you did with Gangstagrass haha) Cheers, J
Unfortunately in the UK you can report someone to the police for being offensive. This happened recently to a comedian called Joe Lycett, who had a police visit to his home and had to produce a written statement explaining the context of his joke. This is a guy who wouldn't even be described as an 'edgy' comedian too.
Jimmy is much more known for hosting these days. His comedy is too many creepy rape jokes for my own taste. Uncomfortable squirm jokes. He loves the shock graphic punchline like Frankie Boyle used to do and that does have its audience. But for Brits, he's not as beloved as Peter Kay, as witty as David Mitchell or enjoyable like Greg Davies, Lee Mack. Or bonkers like vintage Vic n Bob. Jimmy is - well, Jimmy. And whilst the Flix generation like his outrageousness, many others do not. Peace, lovely chaps 🥰✌🏻🇬🇧

Yes good point that is hilarious 😂✌️
That was the clip I was hoping this would be!
I always look forward to Jimmy's roasting of contestants on "8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown", especially his regular banter with Susie and Rachel.
@@jamesdignanmusic2765 especially Susie for me because people see her as being prim and proper.. In actual fact she takes it like a champ
This is called (the nasty show) so there might be a bit of confusion there for them haha
LOL this one killed me! 🤣
Hey, gotta bit of boomage on embrace TS nice one👏👏✌️
Much love man. Good luck with the live stream!
@@EmbraceTheSuck21 Thanks guys! Keep up the good work!
Jimmy Carr's roast of Rob Lowe is pretty ferocious. Only sound, no pictures but def worth a go

If you're going to see Jimmy Carr, you absolutely know what to expect. How idiots can get offended in that situation is beyond my comprehension.
tbf this wouldve been a set with multiple comedians, so someone could be there to see another act and not know him
I thought we'd lost you forever there Daniel with the tears and blood joke...you disappeared forever 🤣🤣🤣 glad it lubed you up for the rest of the clip hahaha
Beautifully timed use of the phrase 'two thumbs up' there, boys.
Classic Jimmy Carr! Hysterical! Thanks guys! Xx
This is why Brits don’t get offended easy. You’ve seen our comedians and football fans 😅🤣
2 years later, I'm sorry to say that this is no longer correct :(
It is the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal. it is known that if you get offended easily don't go to the Nasty show!!!
Never seen that, thoroughly offensive 😂 but as you say, just jokes and we all chose to sit and watch😂to the very end🤣🤣👍🏽👌🏽🫶🏽good stuff fellas
Superb. Laughed my t1ts off. Again.
Love ur reaction as usual keep up the good work🇬🇧👍 also like other people in comments jimmy carr on the big narstie show proper roast its brilliant
Definitely ✌️
Guys! Please don't change!!! You guys get that "jokes are jokes"!!!!!!!
Ahh so he tones it down for a US audience!!
Sorry, North American!!
Just what I was thinking - he’s really turned the dial down for the Canadians…..
He tones it down in Canada. When in the US, he dumbs it down too.
the worst part about the imagine the crowd naked bit and his hand actions .... there are alot of stand up comedians who made those actions in the past and noone realised....
2 thumbs up .... is that instead of the 2 in the goo :p
When He invades America, America will never be the same. I say Thank God....lol

@@NowFunStarts it's here on RUclips as 'Jimmy Carr: The Easiest Way To Live A Happier Life | E106'
I love him. The shock is the funny bit.

You should check out Darryl Waltrip goes for a lap of Bathurst, i know for sure Spencer will love it
So this is what the toned down version of Jimmy Carr is like
🤣🤣so true, exactly what I was thinking 👌🏽
"He should teach courses!" As far as I knopw he doesn't, but he has written a couple of great books on comedy and how it works: "Only Joking" and "The Naked Jape".
Went to see him live here in the UK with my husband and wow this was tame compared to his show. Very funny, it was a brilliant night. 🤣🇬🇧
I saw him in Glasgow and got his autograph, he waited after the show to give everyone an autograph that wanted one, lovely guy.
He is the modern day Bob Monkhouse in style (definitely not in content though). Bob Monkhouse was a master old school comedian.
I think your right there and then I thought imagine Bob saying that stuff 😂😂✌️
Don’t take this the wrong way, but I love how these two, who look like they know where Jimmy Hoffa’s buried, can be shocked, appalled and reduced to fits of laughter by someone who looks like he should be taking coats at the Dorchester.
I still love the Michael Jackson joke.
How come u stopped ricky Gervais show reactions????
Top comic Jimmy Carr ,another Good British comedian you need to watch is Paul Smith at the Hot water comedy club. Paul is a scouser, from Liverpool,so you might need subtitles if you watch ,his whole routine revolves around the audience
Both Jimmy's parents are Irish so he's 100% Irish

This is probably one of his best ever sets, albeit very condensed.
His newest Netflix is good. And his talks with Jordan Peterson and Russel Brand give an insight into the person. Very intelligent and kind. But a very dark humor.
British comedy is the most uncompromising an honest comedy on earth.
Jimmy actually wrote a book on comedy, so if anyone could teach it...
You guys should do some of the awkward moments from Your Face or Mine.
You should check out big fat quiz Series!
Sewer canoeist ?
GOAT
You guys need to listen to sleaford mods, jobseeker. Live on Jools Holland.
You need to check out Paul Smith, you won’t regret it
If you guys do some more song reviews, then a 90s UK band called Feeder would be a good call. Buck Rogers, High, Just a day, are some good tracks...
I know his grandparents in Limerick.
Hey guys,
Any chance you could react to JACK SAVORETTI - BREAKING THE RULES (Acoustic version)? (black and white thumbnail)

That ain’t the end
EMBRACE THA SUCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
Big nasti show. , Jimmy Carr roast. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
There just jokes 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You should try some of Ricky Gervais' David Brent songs. Freel love freeway was recorded with Noel Gallagher, lady gypsy is a belter aswell
One comic never see any reactions to is Patrick Kielty
That’s because he’s about as funny as having the shits.
If you have not watched it -> Watch Patrick ONeal-The Nasty Show :)

EARN money FROM the RICH - GIVE it TO the RICH !! THAT'S OUR 'LIVES'
He got in trouble not to long time a go for some Holocaust jokes.
These guys know Roger Federer? I don’t think so.
You would feel sorry for the person getting roasted by jimmy carr ricky gervais and frankie boyle their life would be over in an hour lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nah jokes about kids if wrong. Especially when it's repetitive.
One in the background Booing, must be American...

He's so cringe - tells WAY too many kiddy jokes.
For me Carr is a comedy dinosaur whose well past his sell buy date.
Long may he reign !
Yes this is the 21st century now where we should a sit in our corners and not say boo to a goose.. I agree with you @H4WK69
You can’t even spell “sell-by date”, you muppet.
