Great video as always Eddie, I just love Padley , thousands of compositions , hopefully catch up with you and Craig again down there. Keep the videos coming pal.
Stumbled across you today and glad I did. I also feel a sense of calm when out and about, especially at that location. I almost know the trees by name lol. Refreshing channel and I will be looking over the previous ones and looking forward to the future ones. 🙂
Congratulations on reaching over thousand subscribers a real milestone. Great video again this week can't not love Padley Gorge. I always find compositions there difficult but keep coming back to it.
Sometimes it can be a mental block when it comes to compositions, not the right weather, light, too many people etc. I’ve been there, I think that just lowering your expectations (it probably doesn’t help when bozos like myself keep bigging a place up) and looking for shape and form before a whole composition can help. Find a tree, or tree stump, some fern, a few berries, maybe an irate badger, with something small, and close (not an irate badger) the weather and light lowers in importance. Get a few of those under your belt and then step back and start to look at the bigger picture. I’m not saying it WILL help, but it MIGHT. One day you’ll arrive with autumn colour and mist and have some alone time afterwards. I’m sure of it.
@@EddieSkelson Thanks Eddie for your wise words and some useful tips about the landscape I will steer clear of the badgers I have history with them keep up the good work take care :-)
And I so thought that North Staffordshire and South Cheshire was the place for building campervans. I have been sitting there watching them, thinking I am sure Mr S will pop up, being the near neighbour, , complete with tea tray to help the frayed construction team. Eddie the 'wrinked retainer' so to say . Perhaps you can ghost write the construction manual for them. 🤣🤣Firmly tongue in cheek that one. I enjoyed the video I must say. It looked reasonably quite that early in the morning. I am avoiding the more popular bits of the peak for a while, until the ravening hoards return to whence they came. Frustrating when you live in the county.
I literally used to write instruction manuals for a while :) Regarding Padley, and these sites generally, if you can manage that early rise and drive you can easily get at least an hour to yourself. But, yes, strange that in the holidays I didn’t see a single soul all morning. It was great.
Well you successful Monetized (Rich) Wanker !!! LOL Well done. Long my your vlogs continue. Even the aimless waffling ! Thanks for everything you do on here. I will always watch them.
Absolute love those golden touches the sun provides. You have captured those brilliantly...well done indeed.
Thank you Ian!
Never underestimate the power of your ramblings. I find them equally as interesting as the photography. Well done!
Thank you Dave 🙏
Oh no! I so wanted to see yet another camper van build. 😜 Just keep doing what you're doing.
I die inside every time I someone pitch one. I really do. Don’t get me wrong, I think they are GREAT and would like to own one, but… DAMN!
Padley looking fabulous as ever. Wide shot at around 24mins was a cracker.
Thanks Paul. Loved being there on Monday but it will autumn next. Got to hype that one ☝️

Our next foray will be in the autumn. More than one visit I imagine!

Thank you Todders, up and at em.
Not noticed anyone building a camper van, that would be super super boring. Landscape videos are far more cool to watch . Padley delivers again.👍
Your next Vlog will be a Camper Van build.

I’m so rich you must now all call me Mi’lady.
You looked like a Photography Gandalf wandering around with your camera on a tripod saying the place is like middle earth.
Fool of a Took
Thanks Andy :)
