Glad I’m not the only one who likes Die Hard 2. Sure it’s nothing special, just a repeat of the first movie but set in an airport, but I love Die Hard 2 simply because it also raises the stakes with its plot, John McClane is awesome as usual being the reluctant action hero, and it has that 80s action movie cheese that spilled into the early 90s but still tastes just as fresh. Also I think Tim Burton was a genius with Batman Returns. When you think of Christmas, you think of that warm fuzzy feeling you get spending time with your family, getting presents and singing songs, but in the movie, neither Bruce Wayne and the Penguin have anyone to celebrate the holidays with and it amplifies the negative emotions within the characters. I think Batman Returns is the reason why I enjoy unconventional Christmas movies like Lethal Weapon and Die Hard.
Very good points on Batman Returns. I love the vibe it has overall. Not really Christmasy - but still sort of Christmasy. Haha. Happy Holidays and thanks for watching as always!
The Muppet Christmas Carol isn’t only my favorite Christmas movie of the 90s but it’s one of my favorite movies ever. Nice to see Mixed Nuts on your list, that one never gets the love it deserves
The Muppet Christmas Carol is my favorite Christmas movie. Every Christmas I would watch it with my son. He's 35 now and he still watches it. He will message me and say Hey mom you watching it? I don't even need to ask because I know what he is talking about and my answer is always yes.
That's a great story - I was raised by my grandma and we would watch the OG miracle on 34th street. So I always make it a point to watch in her memory. Insane to think we're getting right into holiday season!!!
I absolutely love Jingle All The Way! I used to rent it on vhs every year. A few years ago, I found a blu ray called "The Family Fun Edition", which also includes a director's cut. I prefer that version now due to the alternate and extended scenes/dialog. It even includes more stores and the change to classic holiday music in most scenes. Also some alternate scenes are even extended.
I will have to think about those...I am watching Home Alone and Home Alone 2 on Christmas day! It's always hard to say no to Batman Returns, that is one of my favorite movies of all time!
Also Home Alone 1 and 2 will always be my top 2 favorite Christmas comedies. I had them on vhs growing. I watch them every year. And i still laugh as hard as I can! These two are golden era Xmas comedies in my opinion!
I think another reason that make’s Jingle All The Way so Good is that us 90’s Kids Turbo Man is basically the in universe replacement for the Power Rangers. As I have heard that the in universe Turbo Man Show was Partially Inspired by the Real Life Power Rangers Show. And Power Rangers was the Big ‘Must Get For Your Kid’ Ticket Item on the Year the show Premiered for us. Anyways hare are some of my other favourite Christmas Films aside A Christmas Carol. Then First is Polar Express (I Can’t Remember if that was a 90’s?) anyways then next is Ghostbusters 2 (Not Well liked I know) and this last one could go either way I guess, End Of Days. 🎄❄️🎅🏼
You make good points with Jingle All the Way, it's so true! I always enjoy the Polar Express. Some people have issues with the animation but I dont mind it at all. Its a cozy little holiday flick! Ghostbusters 2 is awesome! I've always loved it and End of Days is an underrated Arnold movie. Its cool to see him take on that darker role for sure! Happy Holidays!!
@@MoviesNeverSayDie I’m Glade that you Agree but not only that about Polar Express but also to me it’s a Film about Faith. And Thank You. I also would like to wish you and your Family and Friends the same a Happy Holidays. 🎄👍🏽❄️💙☃️
@@MoviesNeverSayDieMy favorite christmas movies from the 90s is rudolph the red nosed reindeer the movie from 1998, and I think this version is better then the 1964 version.🦌🎄
A+ video!
LOVE IT! Look like awesome movies!

I need to track that DC of Jingle All the Way down, I like the movie but have issues with ending. It's be interesting to see the differences.
Glad you included Trapped in Paradise and Mixed Nuts. Both are guilty pleasures for my family at Christmas!
Same here! Just a couple of enjoyable ridiculous holiday flicks! Thanks for watching!
Drinking a Grape Crush soda...while watching this video!
Oh man that takes me back! Haven't had one in ages!
I will have to think about those...I am watching Home Alone and Home Alone 2 on Christmas day!

Love the Home Alone double feature! Good times.
I love calling out Trapped in Paradise, it’s forgotten so frequently but very enjoyable! And Mixed Nuts!!! ❤
It's fun to watch some off the wall holiday movies to mix things up a bit!
Also Home Alone 1 and 2 will always be my top 2 favorite Christmas comedies. I had them on vhs growing. I watch them every year. And i still laugh as hard as I can! These two are golden era Xmas comedies in my opinion!
I watch Home Alone 1/2 each year as well!
@MoviesNeverSayDie I never understood why some people don't like Home Alone 2. It's just as good as the first one in my opinion 👌
Yeah it works for what it is. Its like a remakequel. Part sequel, part remake haha.
Fun Fact: Evanescence lead singer Amy Lee's favorite movie is The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Cool fun fact!
