Thanks for taking the time to post a video of your marble collection, and explaining a bit about the different companies and their styles. Very interesting and informative video.
I collected marbles back in the 90's and accumulated a large selection. I wish more of the younger generation today would pick up the hobby of Marble collecting, it is a lot of good clean wholesome fun and gives you something nice to pass on to the kids and grandkids.
Wow very cool marbles! cool turkey head marble! that info helps i wouldn't of known anything other than a cats eye so cool! my father in law collects them as well!
My best marbles.and I love so much are my 3 German handmade marbles ...one is badly damaged sadly, but I feel lucky to have them....(my baby's) Love them..found them at a flea market here in Germany with about 30 spaghetti marbles..and in a vintage box.. cost a little over $2.50 US dollars...A true steal at that price....They sit on our coffee table now..as we found them..with their spaghetti buddies, and in their vintage box..love that look..
Wow !you have some killer marbles there!Great video with some great ID tips!I have watched both many times, and as I live in NZ I find it hard to collect the real Beauties!but I manage.thanks Kirk.
I recently acquired a very old marble collection from a family member. It has whole sets of bennigtons, in blues and browns, ceramic, clay, stone, and glass marbles of very beautiful patterns. What are these things worth ?
steve huff the Bennington and clays don’t really bring much money. Ceramics and stone don’t do very well either. The glass ones depend on what they are if you want i can give you my email and you could send some pics.
@@wedigiowa Yea I could do that. I am just curious about them. My wife wants me to build on her fathers collection. When I see what's out there I think WoW !! So many types and colors, its exciting to start collecting some of them. I can't wait to go to Moon Marble Co. in Bonner Springs. Their place is amazing !!!
steve huff if you have the ability to post videos to your RUclips you could do that for the marbles you would like me to look at or if we could do photos to e- mail. But I don’t want to put up my e-mail for every one to see. So I would have to figure out how to private message you. Let me know which way you would like?
