Your vlogs are the BEST! Lo Mejor!
Came to show my support. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.
Thank you sooooo much for !a wonderful video of Ensenada! We will be there in one more year!!
Nice! 😊
I am surprised it's so affordable. It's back in the running for my first "landing" place early next year courtesy of this video and a commentor to a recent Almost Retired's video Thank you - right on time!
I just discovered your channel and I am so impressed with your company and the people you interview! I just returned from 2 weeks in beautiful Troncones, Guerrero. Returning to the rainy Seattle area is so depressing!! I might just have to take one of your relocation tours in the next year or so. ❤🇲🇽

Where I share a ton of important information and useful tips for moving to Mexico
Thanks, as Ensenada and Valle de Guadalupe are some of my favorite spots in coming down from California for long weekend s!😊
I have been to Ensenada a couple of times now. There is a Spanish Language school that I spent a few weeks with and it was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed the place a lot, but the roads there are crazy horrible! The drive through the vineyard country is so incredibly beautiful though. We applied for and received out temporary residency cards at the INM in Ensenada. They are very kind, and there's a business that helps expats with the paperwork and process as well. We'd have had a much more stressful experience if it wasn't for them.
Mexico, great country!!!
This was a really outstanding and informative video of Ensenada.
I wish there more information about purchase prices regarding different
neighborhoods in Ensenada.
You can easily find that on inmuebles24.com or by working with a realtor. We don’t talk much about buying because we recommend renting for a year before buying and most of our audience doesn’t live in Mexico yet. So it’s especially important that they rent first. 😀
Far to Ensenada from Pasadena calif
What about short stay options? Any recommendation of good and affordable hotel(s) in Ensenada for a 2-3 week visit? Thanks!
We recommend looking on Airbnb or Booking.com
Thanks for this video! When you say Mediterranean climate, does that mean it would be humid? And, I would like to see a video & info about Pachuca in the state of Hidalgo. Its one of the cities we are looking at and always value your insight.
It isn't very humid because it's in a desert environment. I think people just use "Mediterranean climate" as a shorthand for the temperature range, not too hot and not too cold
Hola! Glad you liked it. Check out the humidity averages on a weather app like weatherspark
@biscottaish I live just south of Ensenada in the village of Cantu. We have San Diego type weather. Very nice
It is like San Diego weather.
Thank you
I heard the water situation is not good with aquifers drying up. Anyone know just how bad it is?
@@doneaton6704 problem is we have a desalination plant that is very old and is not enough for the number of People that live here, so every time it goes under maintenance they cut off the water, it can last from a few hours to a few days, if you get a rotoplas like they mentioned in the video you should be good. I grew up and still live here (:
It is not easy to find a place to rent there. I would like to live near the Costco in Ensenada.
Agree, I have been there, also like the newly Dorado area nearby Costco, would wish Maria can also introduce some of the local real estate agents?
We have a couple of excellent local realtors we recommend. To get instant access to our directory of contacts, check out our complete Mexico Relocation Guide- mexicorelocationguide.com/guide/
@@2ndlife-ql1hcAmen. The best realtor can't find what doesn't exist. If you want to rent an apartment instead of a house, esp if you want unfurnished, it's pretty much impossible in Ensenada.
I live in San Diego and because I have experience in the area, I saw that everyone wants dollars and the prices are constantly going higher plus they don’t tell you how often they cut off the water and electricity and better don’t talk about the other ‘subject’
@@mimi1o8…ehh…what other “subject?”
I would like to learn more about living on the gulf side of Mexico
Hola! Stay tuned for more videos we’re working on
Are there any viable neighborhoods that are highly walkable for daily needs? Especially ones that are a short walk from the malecon? I have mostly seen car-centric developments well away from centro.
Any neighborhood close to the city center will be the best ones for walking everywhere.
I want to underscore what a couple of others have said on this thread. It is not easy to find a rental in Ensenada (understatement). Especially for those who want to rent an apartment instead of a house. Flats in apartment buildings are pretty much non-existant here. So if you want to rent a flat instead of a house then living in Ensenada is not really an option. And finding an unfurnished rental of any kind is also nearly impossible. I gave up on Ensenada for that reason and settled in TJ. TJ has many nice contemporary unfurnished apartments, in good areas (golden triangle).
That’s odd because I have helped several people find rentals. We recommend a few realtors that have listings of all kinds. Perhaps you had a hard time because you didn’t know where to look 😀
@MexicoRelocationGuide Are you saying that you found unfurnished apartments/flats in apartment buildings in Ensenada? That's what I was describing.
Do you have a video for Puerto Penasco? Thanks.
In January of last year I obtained my permanent residency, but upon leaving Mexico a month later I was not aware of any requirement to check out with immigration ... I just boarded my flight. Will this cause any difficulty re-entering when I return next week.
You should be ok- just don't make a habit of it.
muchas gracias por la respuesta
Watching from Atlanta. I seldom see people riding bikes in videos of México. Are you allowed to ride bikes on the malecón? Or is bike riding just not popular there?
Bike riding is allowed on the malecón
@@markfuell7237 If you want to ride a bike for transportation, Mexico City is probably your best bet.
I've never been to the USA or Mexico but wondering if it's good in Mexico why are so many moving to the US?

Noting its Baja location, can a permanent resident have a US-plated car here?
Yes, it's considered the "frontier zone" and no problem with a US plated car. As a matter of fact, a lot of Mexicans drive cars with California plates. I think it's a status symbol. LOL
Yeap- and you don’t need to get a temporary import permit
What about I know Tiawana is very dangerous. Is Encanada a caltel route for them into California
There are never any mass shootings in Mexico.
You mean Tijuana? The cartel is everywhere in Mexico really. There’s just more activity in specific areas. Ensenada isn’t one of the turf wars
Your quotes on rental prices are about 10 years out of date. $10,000 Pesos might get you a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment, but that's about it.
We mention 1 bedroom apartments for $10k from our local realtor sources in town that have rentals in those prices. Recent prices
