I was there witnessing a huge event long tussle with Henry Toivonen both in Manta 400s. Touivonen came out on top. It was awsome watching the pair of them screwing the last drop of performance out of those cars on the Man tarmac. Shall always remember it. Love them both hugely absolute legends and deservedly so..
It does look like steering was crap though. Also the car's behavior must have been excessively understeery, seeing how violently he had to unsettle it to get it to rotate. Obviously he did drive it remarkably well but still looks like hard work and not particularly rewarding.
He kept on having to adjust the break bias but according to the drivers who drove the Manta it had a awful tendency to understeer which you can see on this video
