I wantched them race in Australia against cars with twice the engine capacity and it was David vs Goliath. David often won against the odds. The car needed to be homologated. Couldn't have used a custom setup like that. Also, would the 4wd drivetrain have been tough enough for this kind of abuse?

@ its not a costom setup, im refering to the 325ix. and people have been rallying those pretty successfully.
