Wow that old element with the winding rope unlocked a memory for me! I can't remember if I had one from an actual set or from a big box of random pieces from a Yard Sale, but I definitely remember having one of those!
Get a second string attached to the back of the house and connecting to the wall behind. Doesn’t have to be super secure since it won’t be weight bearing, but it’ll keep it oriented where you want it.
I’ll bet that lot is still available because real estate is so high in mindapolis. I’m guessing that 1/2 acre lot is about 300k and that’s just for the empty lot
Thank you for the video, I was the one who actually asked about it. I've wanted to do something similar but I've been scared to do so if it goes wrong. But seeing how you did it, I may give it a shot. Thanks.
I would love to see an Airplane or a Helicopter in this kind of position. A house not so much though :D :D I love coming back on this channel every once in a while and every time I come back there is a whole bunch of new stuff going on. I love what you did with your city - specially that industrial part below the Airport is just fantastic.
I want to say thank you and bricksie, you inspired me to start my own town( i'm almost 21 and AFOL like you and i started to collect lego in 2012)(for now i own two modulars(police station and assembly square and i use road plates) and i already started nature area
You could also use clear fishing line which is stronger but also easier to cut with a scissors. To keep the house from twirling, attach clear fish line or your string to at least 2 equal corners of the house(4 corners would be the most secure.
Cool to see how it was done
Minifigure placement 👍

It's cool and perfect timing, if you have short ammount of space in the city, it's perfect to have something floating over the city.

I love how every person goes about creating there Lego city differently, i cannot wait to make mine eventually.
Thanks for sharing. This was a lot more involved than I realized. Looks very secure.
Great addition and perfect placement

Sweet, hope it helped.
Well done! you managed to make the up house more interesting and free up 1 baseplate. 😄👍
I mean if you could find a small enough rotating display hook that could be cool as well.
Looks incredible
Love that! 😍

That's awesome to hear. Good luck with your city.
@@alexnunes thanks
Cool set and a fun way to put in your city
You are so right Alex. That house needs sooooo many more balloons. It actually look silly with the amount right now.
“hey guys that’s gonna wrap it Up” 🤣
Good how to video. The only thing I would have liked to see know about the process is what type of string did you use.
Good call. I would have said something like, don't use a weak one.
@@alexnunes well that is the kind of specific insight we expect from you

I love it
Really nice.... Squirrel 😂😂
I dare you to hang the Star Wars ship thing.
I'm Dug... o look squirrel
Du brauchst mehr Luftballons am Haus. 😊 Sonst paßt es optisch da hin👍
Just hope it doesn't fall down.
It would be fun if you did have a space in the downtown area where the remains of the foundation were left in a green lot in contrast to all the grey.
Why not use Fishing cord much bethhter and waist sturdy and to roof u can just have cord have a ear not and hook it much cleaner.
Salam kenal kka .. end makasih Sheringnya 🎉❤🇮🇩🙏
