Standard WT event, but where you could choose what (low,high) reward you want to get would be ideal for everyone who missed a chance to get these vehicles. Easy money for Gaijin and players would get a chance to get some of these vehicles for free, or buy with GE but at least without paying thousands..
I can guarantee this kind of event would be very popular.

As a new player and a Canadian, I bought the MEXAS around Christmas time because I missed that event. The price has gone up like 50% since then! It sucks that some of the smaller countries have their best vehicles only available in the market because they were past events. And don’t get me started on the HMCS Haida….
Grab the Ram II (M4A5) in the American Tank Tree - it's great for premium Rank III event grinding tank. Also the Skink in the Rank IV British tank tree is a beast on aircraft and since the top is closed it yawns off most strafing attacks, the other Canadian tank I'd like to get is the QF 3.7 Ram tank destroyer which is hovering around $44 GJN in the market right now.

As always a great video👍! But maybe you could do one about the rooivalk helicopter(british techtree), since its missiles are basicly 1350mm pen hellfires and its a pretty good heli overall.
I rarely play with helicopters (I've made 2 videos so far) but you never know 😉

@@DOLLARplays and if you don't like the cancer and boring heli gameplay with missiles (very understandable), you can try something more exotic like BOMBING with heli. It doesn't feel overpowered anymore and it's some fun playing real sucid squad cas.

I have been really enjoying naval combat lately, the US 4.7 ships Fort Knox and Wilkinson are a absolute blast to play! Working on getting the PT-200 and PT-810 unlocked! Also picked up a few epic dive bomb torpedo kills in the BTD-1.

Man I love the duels between t95 and maus/E100
Man I wish I had the Surblinde. I got the Surbaisse, which just sucks, especially because it doesn't get that top 20mm. Seriously, they must have nerfed the 120mm AP round because the amount of times my round just disappears, no pens, or even just getting absorbed by components is extremely frequent. Its literally every battle. What's weird, is it seems to happen less to the French 100, as I get kill after kill with my Lorraine 40T, AMX 50, and such. BTW you ought to play the Char 25T, as it gets M84 nuke with just slightly over 200mm of pen. Sadly, it was nerfed by gaijin a bit ago. Use to have a 4.0 second reload but now its at 6.7, which is just ridiculous. Still, the one shot potential is amazing with M84.

10:59 I learned this with my IS-7 the rear armor and engine is worse than front for protection and the rear is only 60mm so you always need a repaie

sometimes I wish I spent like 200-300$ in the IS-7 event to just get it early and then keep it to sell it for insane prices.
Too bad the battlepass events are basically garbage now though. The vehicles are either a hit or a miss, but usually a miss.

Wow, the unreliability of those heavy shells is so frustrating. Heavy tanks have so many penalties - with such long reloads every shot should do its thing.
Love you dollar,! There is far more expensive video game items. "The Golden Pan" of Team Fortress 2 is 3000-5000 dollars. The AWP Dragon lore, from counter strike, is lots and certain knives from CS GO are only a little less than 10k.

CSgo has got some pricey items aswell so it’s level headings for both games I think
Wish I had the E 100, as it has an interesting story behind it. I would gladly pay 10 000 GE if they made another one with the turret it would have gotten, like in WOT (even if that wasn’t built, it would be more accurate than the Maus turret which is way too heavy for that hull). I love playing with the Maus so having a version that’s slightly faster firward and has better side armour would have been great. History of the E 100 below.
I can’t remember every detail of the story but ConeOfArc made a video on the topic. Basically one competitor to the Maus was the Tiger-Maus, which was supposed to have a smaller weight by being lower and would have used Tiger 1 parts, which is why it failed. After the superheavy tank project was cancelled, some german officer with connections decided to steal the idea of the Tiger-Maus, change the tiger parts for the ones from the tiger 2 (not sure if that was him or the designers of the tiger-maus that did it to make it more reliable) and gave it a new name: the E 100. He would then use his connection to keep him out of trouble and have a company assign three workers to the project and asked other companies that never made tanks before to design more tanks like the E-10, E-25, E-50 and E-75 to replace all the tanks in service while sharing parts originating from the tiger 2. The E-100 would almost be completed when Americans captured the factory, so they completed it (it may have been drivable we don’t know) and gave it to the British. Since the UK was broke after the war due to all the bombings, they decided to sell it to a scrapyard that also tore apart ships for their metal. Since the demand for steel lowered a few years later and cutting up a ship is easier and more interesting than a (small in comparison) thick tank hull that weighs at least over 100 tons. It is therefore possible that it’s still laying somewhere, but the chances are low and it would require a ton of effort and money just to find it even if it was still in that scrapyard.
Anyway it’s a cool tank that would have been much more realistic to produce (more than the Maus at least since the Löwe had an even lower weight) and it may be gone IRL, so I hope that one day we all have the chance to get it in an event (like the Sturmtiger) or as a limited time GE vehicle that reappears every year. The price on the marketplace is ridiculous and there’s not even any E-100 for sale.
We will most likely never get the E-100 with the lighter Maus II type turret as it was merely a concept / rough drawing with very little details. For example, in WoT, which used the blueprints available, the turret only has a gun-sight, no optics for the commander and the internal layout is completely unknown. Even if the E-100 in War Thunder might be unrealistic because of the suspension being unable to support the 50 ton turret, you also must understand that the E-100 was added at a time when more esoteric vehicles could be added (R2Y2 for example). Nowdays, if we would not have received the E-100 back then, it would probably never be added, as it no longer complies with Gaijins rules for new vehicles, which must at least have been completed to a minimum of operability (for new designs and planes / tanks, as ships are different).
The Maus turret was at least built and mounted to a tank, so modelling it and the interior x-ray modules is at least possible, whereas the E-100 concept turret has neither interior, nor fleshed out exterior details.
@@leinad3305 The Maus only has one optic for the commander, and it rotates like a CITV. It may be useful in sim since it has a great zoom, but I never use it. If you really want it, it could be mounted in the same spot since the E 100 seems to share the same roof layout, or be placed where the commander would be if he has to be moved back due to space. The rest of the crew us basically the same since the two tanks share the same armament. The only challenge would be how to place the 75mm gun since it would be above the 128, but that shouldn’t be more complicated than placing the breech sideways. As for the armor and the turret shape, they just have to take the Maus dimensions and shorten the length a little bit (if there’s no measurement for it), replace the front curve with a 250-300mm flat slope, make the sides slightly less angled and a bit less thick and make the rear a lot less angled and again, less thick. It doesn’t have to be exactly as how it would have been though, armour can be adjusted for balance and so it gives the impression that it’s actually lighter. Oh also add a n optical rangefinder, but only if it doesn’t clip with the guns.
Gaijin invented the interior layout for the Tiger 2 10.5 and for the Panther 2 (gun wouldn’t have fitted at all and the schmalturm was developed after the project was cancelled), invented a large part of the Ho-Ri’s and completely made up the later two R2Y2’s. They also made quite a few event tanks, so clearly they would be able to modify the Maus’ internal layout to fit in the E-100 turm. They don’t even care about vehicles being 100% accurate anymore, as it was said for the M1 KVT (it’s supposed to be a M1A1 with a 120mm, not a M1 with a 105). It’s a good thing IMO, because that will allow us to have more vehicles that couldn’t be completed due to war and blueprints one that simply weren’t built for the same reason. I don’t care if a vehicle was never built, as long as it is backed up by a real blueprint or is based on a real tank design and looks realistic (like the Coelian, the later Me 262 models that were planned with different wings, etc.). Those vehicles give more flexibility when it comes to implementing / balancing them and would allow even more diversity because there won’t be any service vehicle to add eventually.

And all those modifications to the E-100 you mentioned would make it a fantasy tank. As for the Coelian, Tiger II 10,5cm etc. those were removed from research precisely because of their fantasy / what-if nature. The M1 KVT is at least an M1, a tank that exists and was built, even if no M1 specifically was dressed up like the original M1A1 KVT, it's simply a vis-mod, not a new tank-model.
@@leinad3305 They are absolutely not fantasy tanks (outside of the 105). The E-100 hull was built and even completed by the Americans to the point that it may have been drivable. Giving it the turret it was supposed to have isn’t fantasy, it’s what would have happened if the factory wasn’t captured and German higher ups didn’t stop them when they inevitably learn about the project. What is fantasy is giving the E-100 a turret that would have been physically impossible for it to carry.
The Coelian only wasn’t produced because Germany was losing and they desperately needed Panther hulls for tanks. If they had more of those or replaced it, it would have been built especially because it has decent armor and Germany lost air superiority. Either way, it was built as a 1:1 turret mockup and has detailed information on it.
The Ostwind 2, on the other hand, only has a single or a few sources mentioning that one vehicle was partially built and destroyed by the Soviets. Unlike the one in-game, it was supposed to have a single cutaway slot to fit both guns, but it’s unknown whether it was horizontally or vertically. Either way, it apparently was very cramped because of the two guns since I believe it used the same turret as the Ostwind instead of the enlarged version in WT. Either way, it’s far less real than the Coelian.
The Tiger 2 105 was a real proposal, but stayed that way because the gun would have been way too bug for the turret. It’s therefore fake, but maybe it would have been usable if there wasn’t the rangefinder. There would still have been an issue with the second loader though.
The M1 KVT is fake because it’s supposed to be a M1A1 with the armor and 120mm gun that comes with it, not a basic M1. I’m pretty sure that the basic M1 was retired when the M1 came, or at least was kept in reserve since the M1IP was more advanced. An argument could be made that it’s just as fake as the E-100, because it has the wrong gun and the wrong armor.
The Panther 2 has the same issue. They could easily reintroduce it if they gave it a 75mm gun and the turret it would have gotten if it wasn’t cancelled.
In the end War Thunder is an arcady game, not a simulator. Whether a vehicle was fully built or not shouldn’t matter so long as it feels authentic, because eventually there won’t be any vehicles to add without copy-pasting or adding models with minor changes b
i hope so to as veteran who played on the E-100 tournament twice and almost win but i did not because their was to many cheaters i wish all old event tanks come back for GE or another event
