This is a magical place. I visited two years ago and was given a tour by the owners. Such dedication and passion. The trout here is the best I've ever tasted.

One of my best side trips when traveling is to visit a trout/salmon hatcheries where ever I go. Thanks for the video it was very informative.

That’s an impressive farm, healthy looking fish, farmed fish don’t always look that good. Cool to have a swamp to suck up all the crap too, that’s rare and ideal, and good spring water, lucky.

Just wanting to let you know for the future that over headphones the owner is only coming in on the right channel and the other gentlemen is only coming in on the left channel. This is being caused by the microphones recording only to the right or left channel when using two of them. Can make it really challenging to watch such a good video.

I love what you do, very interesting, my name is Tosin, from Sault St marie Canada, how can I get some fish to buy from you? I am interested in fingerlings.
    Hope to hear back.
    Thanks

WILL TROUT USUALLY DIE AFTER BEING CAUGHT?
IF NOT WHAT HOOK SIZE DO YOU RECOMMEND.

DON'T TOSS TROUT INTO WATER BECAUSE THEY GET A CONCUSSION EASILY, HOLD THEIR TAIL AND PUSH THEM GENTLY BACK AND FORTH IN THE WATER TO PUSH WATER THROUGH THEIR GILLS. THIS LETS THEM GRADUALLY BUILD UP ENOUGH STRENGTH FOR ESCAPE. ONLY USE POWERBAIT ON PLANTER TROUT. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR SMALL TROUT USE SIZE 10-12 HOOKS AND OR FLIES. WORMS ATTRACT TROUT HOWEVER THEY'RE USUALLY TOO LARGE IF STOREBOUGHT SO DIG UP FRESH GARDEN EARTHWORMS THAT WILL FIT ON A SIZE 10-12 TREBEL HOOK. Lastly make sure to fish for trout at night or early morning. Have fun!
P.S One last thing, if you don't set the hook soon enough they'll swallow the bait and you won't be able to release the fish at all cause at that point there's a hook in it's stomach. 😅
