it’s a little difficult for me to verbalize how much this record means to me. i used to flip this record over and over again alone in my room as a teenager. close to 20 years later I still remember every word.
Thank you. The feeling remains mutual. There is still so much to fight for and change around the world, isn't there? Nevermind revolution, we want evolution!
I first experienced it thru a Maxell recordable cassette a friend had duped for me bk in HS days. Just prior to that, I had only heard an ANTISCHISM mix tape I had ordered from the Havoc Records (Felix Havoc's [DESTROY!, CODE 13] label) catalog. It included some (if not all) of the 7"'s and (I think) demos. As much as I dig this record, I think their material from the 7"'s i.e. (especially) "All Their Money Stinks Of Death", is a better record. Just seems more raw and includes 'Scream/Violent World', which is one of my fav jams! In my late 20's (2006 ish), I dated this really cool chick (Lee) that has excellent taste in tunes and she gifted me the clear vinyl version of "Still Life" which conveinently allowed me to listen to it more often cuz I didn't have access to any cassette players at that time. Still have "Still..." and def appreciate it much more than I used to.
@@PaulVegan - That "Nevermind revolution, we want evolution" lyric sounds SOOOOOO familiar to me but my mind is a blank. Ill comment bk when I remember it.
I've loved this band for 10+ years. And I own their albums and one thing comes to mind. The guitarist is soo talented. People always point out the female vox. I could care less for her, they could have had a gnome sing these jams and I'd still like them. The guitar is out of this world.
Can anyone help me? There's this goofy little in-between-songs song that antischism does where they're all talking in fake british accents? Sorta poking fun at punk fetishization of England but mostly just having fun :) I remembered it being on all their money stinks of death but now I can't seem to find it, any ideas,
Their Purple Haze cover is on All their Money.., and it's got lots of goofing off recorded over it. But it's like "Tofu Burger with Cheese" not anything really british that I remember.
Seriously though. this band is amazing. I haven't listened to Crust punk at all until the day I comment on this video. I've been finding more and more bands each day it's great! I remember seeing one though in a underground venue in Phoenix, Arizona but didn't consider it Crust Punk until now because their lyrics were aimed at the government and in such sense; and the really distorted guitars.
always loved the "ting-ting-ting" this drummer does, it's all over Antischism and Initial State
Hell yeah same here. So distinct

My favorite band back in the early 90's for sure. Big influence on the bands I played in back then.
Same bro..this one and the shit split nearly got worn out in my room back in the day. This album was my whole world for a couple of years.

@ filth, you're a moron. I really hope you're joking.
Azazel Belial How does it feel to not understand sarcasm and reply to a year old comment?
filth, I apologize, that was not very smart of me to assume. I'm not being sarcastic either.
You are a Distillers rip off.
