They actually kept us in real suspense for track too. The whole entire time I thought that singing was garbage. The big reveal on the end was amazing. I can’t stand autotune mumble rap (I’m golden era boombap all day) yet that track really won it for me.

I think trap should take more time to be perfect, because of the tones and musical things, but drill doesnt need to be tonal as trap music. So that its easier to make drill music in my opinion
I liked the trap one more despite the imperfections. Like, the guitar just makes me melt. I could listen to it on repeat.

I give the winner to trap team tbh, cuz trap are so hard to do actually, instead of just putting autotune, the rappers has to put melody, which they have to have great singing skills. But also it's unlike singing, they have to do it with rhyme which means some kind of the feeling of the delay isn't by dragging the sound but by the reverb, and sometimes have to keep the melody when rapping pretty fast. Overall it's very challenging to be good.
