I think its because it was first, Kyle didn't understand the general skill level of everyone else, so he rapped it expecting better later. If it was near the end, he'd rate it higher I'd think.
I think the french guy killed it actually! The hook was really good and catchy, nice switch with to the french there, although the autotune might be a bit much at times

I’m an author that listens to music while I work and this beat actually inspired me a bit. The melody just had me picturing a guy in the rain, coming home from work, soaking wet, walking because his car broke down and his girl had to take their kid to the doctor. I see a guy sacrificing for his family while refusing to let the world grind him down. He slogs through the rain, cars sometimes passing too close and dousing him with the puddles and at the end of it all he gets home to see the smiles of his family and that’s what keeps him going. You know what? I’m not a rapper or anything like that, but I might write something for you on this beat. I just have to figure out how to write lyrics instead of prose.😅

@@idobenotvibing if you have followed the videos kyle has made, you know that he is getting people who doesnt know what they are doing 9,9 out of 10 times, i only watch his vid´s once a month cause people fuck up on a simple but fire beat as this. Kyle could have flipped the chorus i so many diffrent ways that even the "rappers" would have realised that they missed their chance and never sent a rap back in the first place. I feel like this should be open to people with good vocals and not just rappers. A good singer could play off these beats just as well as someone rapping off it. :) I’d love to try it, but I don’t have an equipment and I’ve only ever written and sang for my own enjoyment. However, that idea should be put out there for anyone thinking they can kill it with more than just rapping!

I downloaded the beat to see how it went, but after 31 seconds, it was hard to form my cadence and vocal notes due to the switch up. Twas too soon. Found that after 31 seconds, it sounds best to repeat it at 15 seconds, and when 31 seconds comes up again, skip to 46 seconds. Which sounds good initionally but then would have to tone something down on the instrumentals (either by removing some instruments, or lowering in the volume of some, or some kind of pazazz to smoothen it more out). After that, it's prime-time to form the lyrics, melodies, vocal notes, and cadences. Sometimes, the beat can be the same with minor adjustments, whilst it's the vocalist who is the one to do the major switch-ups via the cadence and vocal notes, especially on this particular beat. 🤓😎

tbh i think as an artist you need to be able to adapt and be flexible and versatile. it will help you in many ways than being locked down to a certain sound. You always have to take a gamble when picking someone and what they will deliver. I think it really isnt hard to come up with something catchy on that beat though, i would put good use to that.
