CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Rick (Will Ferrell) gets into a fight with Matt Lauer while promoting his new book.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
This big-screen adaptation of Land of the Lost stars Will Ferrell as Dr. Rick Marshall, a quantum paleontologist who has been discredited in the scientific world due to his strident belief in time travel as the cure for all of humanity's problems. After hitting an all-time low, giving a lecture to elementary school kids, Dr. Marshall meets an ambitious young scientist named Holly (Anna Friel), who tells him she has followed all his work and believes he's a genius. Spurred on by her enthusiasm, he finishes building the device that will allow him to time travel -- something he promptly does along with Holly, and white-trash fireworks salesman Will (Danny McBride), after Will leads them into a cave that seems like a promising place to test the new machine. They end up in a world full of dinosaurs, sand, and scary lizard-like creatures known as Sleestacks. They quickly lose the machine that brought them to this alternate universe, and if they ever want to return home, the trio must recover it with the help of Chaka (Jorma Taccone), the monkey-like friend they make in this strange place.

@@StuntmanDanHemi One film based on a TV show that I feel needs more appreciation for is the 2017 movie of Power Rangers. I’ll admit there were some changes that I was a little iffy with, but it still worked for the story. And I’m glad they gave it more of a mature approach instead of keeping it kid appropriate. But because of the low box office, the 6 sequel plan was canceled. And since they’re planning on doing another reboot, I hope that they keep in a similar tone of that 2017 film because I do think it was a good start for a new cinematic universe.

OMG the first time I saw this movie I was so pleasantly surprised of how good it was... One of my all time favourite comedy movies. Will Ferrell is always funny.

The only thing that's "startling" about this happening, is the speed at which the highest paid, constantly finger wagging, hypocritical leftist mainstream media mouthpieces (Matt Lauer, Charlie Rose, etc.) were "blown up" by the very same "land mines" which their own companies set, in the hopes that they would blow up *only* the careers of the Conservative and Republican politicians that they didn't like.
