What an interesting and varied location, with nature reserves and a museum.

Hi Michael, although a flat walk, the history makes it interesting. Next time I would like to do a circular along the river Weaver to the Anderton boat lift and then along the Trent & Mersey canal.

Not really done much walking in the Northwich- area, so it's nice to see map routes for that area. I thought seeing your route on your mobile was interesting. Never known how mobile maps worked or if accurate or not. The Salt museum looked like a promising tourist place to visit for us. Thanks for sharing Steve.

Hi Shanita, it was a really interesting museum, shocked at how many disasters it caused. Would be nice if they could fix the interactive displays. Going to take a boat trip up and down the Anderton boat lift on our next visit to Northwich, it looks like fun.
