Don't you think your first sentence is a bit misleading? 1. It was a weak, telegraphed attack on purpose. 2. it was a response to Israel striking their embassy in Syria and killing a general. Did you just not know that this started with the Israeli strike on the Iranian embassy in Syria??? You should repost this and add context right before it opens. Irans strike showed it just needs to launch 300 cheap decoys to overwhelm Israeli defenses to allow between 14-40 missiles to penetrate the defenses. And that's with the whole world defending it.
In an all-out war, if Iran launches 1200 cheap decoys, that's at least 56-160 guaranteed hits.
Those decoys target military targets like iron dome, arrow systems, F35 airbase, radars, and so on. So Israel CANT afford to not strike them down.
Israel will run out of interceptors before Iran runs out of missiles.

Everything said including in the comments borders on speculation without any serious substantiation
What Israel has, only Israel knows and no one else - Israel has the most efficient technological development in the world - you even hinted at it when you introduced the suffix I on all Israeli aircraft
The suffix I shows the differences between, say, an American and Israeli F-35 plane - because the plane that Israel buys arrives naked without any features and undergoes a significant upgrade that even the American, Japanese and/or British plane does not have.
There is a significant reason for this, since the Americans also sell weapons to Israel's enemies, therefore, the weapons in Israel's hands, although of American origin, are completely different from the ones in the hands of other forces.
Apart from that, I would advise all enemies of Israel not to mess with Israel too much because in the end it will hurt the whole world. Therefore, in order for the world to be good, it is better to support Israel and hurt its enemies.

Stick a HIMARS M30A1 tungsten ball type of warhead on Jericho 2 and they could be an effective conventional weapon to hit soft targets at long range. Something like this could be an effective way of getting additional utility from older ballistic missiles as they are replaced by Jericho 3, probably for the nuclear role.

It's also a big question how those countries would react. I mean, the countries over which Israel and Iran are playing this missile/drone "volleyball". Their reaction to Iran's attack are noted. But will the do the same for Israel? If they allow Israel to do whatever they want, Iran might consider them as enemies cos they provided their airspace to the enemy for strike against Iran...
Overall, messy. I think most of these countries will act the same as they did before, keeping their neutrality. Maybe Iran is not capable of doing much damage to Israel, but to Iraq, Syria and Jordan, they would be much more successful.

Israel wants to force the issue, Iran has no interest in a direct confrontation. Israel wants a direct confrontation because they want their allies to do most of the fighting or at the very least carry the expense. Neither Israel or Iran by themselves can meaningfully do strategic level damage to each other. What Iran could do is essentially shut down the strait of Hormuz to add pressure. They can easily do this with just the threat of their drone missile etc arsenal. While strategically unappealing, it is an option. And cmon people, nukes? The use of nukes would be political suicide for any regime that uses them.

Apparently Iran has the advantage of escalatory dominance over Israel. The fact is: Warplanes were developed in the first world war and missiles in the second. Missiles are a newer technology and are superior to planes as they have longer range, do not risk pilots' lives and can penetrate robust air defenses.

The IDF would have to refuel over semi-hostile airspace, much of it controlled by the US. At the very least this would mean that any attack without explicit and official US support would be one and done. With Iran as a world leader in burying stuff in deep bunkers, it seems unlikely the IDF can do any significant damage at all, certainly not with only one shot at it with untried weapons.

forget war, how to do a cake.
    STEP 1
Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4, butter and line the base of two 20cm spring-form cake tins with baking parchment.
    STEP 2
Using an electric whisk beat the butter and sugar together until pale and fluffy. Crack the eggs in one at a time and whisk well, scraping down the sides of the bowl after each addition. Add the lemon zest, vanilla, flour, milk and a pinch of salt. Whisk until just combined then divide the mixture between the two tins.
    STEP 3
Bake in the centre of the oven for 25-30 mins until a skewer inserted into the middle of each cake comes out clean. After 10 mins remove the cakes from their tins and leave to cool completely on a wire rack. Fill how you like. My personal favourite is a good dollop of lemon curd and some fresh cream, then dust the top with icing sugar. Will keep for 3 days.
