After 1D split he should have persued being a fireman, I can totally see how Liam would have been fulfilled by helping others, he had a great need to be needed by people, to feel like people admired and liked him that he never really received in his solo career and I think being a fireman, the mental and physical of it would have filled that emptiness in him that lead him down a dark path. After 1D he was lacking in self-esteem, struggling with fading into obscurity, felt the need to big himself up and helping others would have given him what someone with his personality needed.
Liam helped others knowing he couldn’t help himself, he wanted others to feel what he couldn’t a true man does that just because there not happy doesn’t mean others shouldn’t be.
