About Royal Blood:
Brighton duo Royal Blood comprising drummer Ben Thatcher and bassist/vocalist Mike Kerr formed at the beginning of 2013. They quickly made their presence known, with pounding drums and heavily distorted bass guitar defining characteristics of their ferocious blues-rock sound. The band gained many plaudits early in their career, touring with the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Iggy Pop and Foo Fighters, before going on to win Best British Group at the Brits in 2015 receiving their trophy from their musical hero and admirer Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page.
Their catalogue boasts the Mercury Prize nominated self-titled debut album released in 2014 that spawned hits such as "Out of the Black, "Little Monster:, "Come On Over" and "Figure it Out", as well as their second successive UK number one album "How Did We Get So Dark?" released in 2017 which featured "Lights Out" and "I Only Lie When I Love You".

Same! Just saw them in Salt Lake last night. Was so shocked when Mike pulled the slide out and they started playing this one. Probably one of my favorite songs of the set too, honestly. So good.

Saw them on the finale in San Diego last night. This has been one of my favorite songs since it showed up as a B-side. I concur about the shock of the slide coming out AND the song blowing my mind. I still cannot get over how good this band is and how I get to see them in such small venues.

They did one soundtrack song and there is only one B-Side that was not on the album.
Pretty weak
But if you put in there the live covers (West Coast, Ace of Spades, Happy, Roxanne) they did, the demo version of Come on Over, the Black Sabbath outro they do at the end of the shows and the acoustic guitar version of Better Strangers I'll buy it.

being technically un-skilled doesn't mean your music is bad. and he's pretty tight live, especially recently
BUsE Sure, Kurt Cobain (for example) was a fantastic writer and an average performer, but he didn't delve into the same degree of self-aggrandising that Jack White indulged in.
I'm just glad he's been made redundant, Mike Kerr plays the keys too so I'm looking forward to that.

I honestly don't hear any Led Zeppelin influences in their music. Kinda weird since Led Zeppelin is what I've been listening to for my entire life(literally, my parents played their songs all the time) and they are one of my favourite bands and I see a fair number of people that say there are some influences...
