  • Guelph is a city in Southwestern Ontario, located North of Highway 401 and East of Highway 6. Guelph was the first municipality in Canada to have its own federally chartered railway, the Guelph Junction Railway.
    Guelph Central Station was built in 1911 as part of the Grand Trunk Railway. It has been designated as a heritage structure under the Heritage Railway Stations Protection Act. Today, CN and GO Trains operate through this station.
    In addition to rail service, Guelph Central Station serves as a terminus for many of Guelph Transit's bus routes, particularly those that run in the North part of the City. GO Transit also operates bus service to Hamilton, Kitchener, Mississauga, & Toronto.
