Everybody seemed to think so. I confess I didn't understand it. Don't get the Nobby Solano / adult icecream connection. Must be a more recent cultural thing.
The team's decision regarding Wally was a great representation of presidential democracy - Lee and Richard both decide to give Jermaine the decision and his decision ends up not being what either of them wanted
I was told without their mothers grooming them the ducklings feathers will not provide surface tension required to swim. I once watched a duckling swim out into the river, sink and never came up when I asked someone more familiar that's what they told me.
@101wormwood shockingly, there are different types of ducks, which consequently means that, depending on the type, the ducklings look differently too. Germaine Greer was talking about mallards, whose ducklings aren't yellow.
My guess would be they do more than make the final cut, and they keep the stories (fictional and real) that played the best and also fit the total time best. I say this, because I suspect there was at least one that was left on the cutting room floor that may one day come to light as bonus footage.
"There once was a man from Nantucket Who kept all his gold in a bucket His daughter named Nan Ran off with a man And as for the bucket, Nan took it" Now you have to say it in an early American accent so that it rhymes and you have the original limerick.
@@MelissaThompson432 lucky you. I’m starting to think it’s a time-of-day thing. Certain videos are merely bookended by ads at one time, then the same vid at a different time has literally two ads every 2-2.5 minutes throughout.
@@chriskaprys yes, I think so. Also, it always seems to be a video I'm actually trying to concentrate on, for me. WILTY is my brain candy; I don't expect to learn anything from it....

12:57 that little nod of "yeah, another where's Wally joke..." 🤣
I was just thinking of Alan not been on WILTY.
...and this popped up👍
The adult icecream bit was brilliant.

It would be nice to have it explained, but I appreciate that might be difficult in the modern censorious climate.

this is a good episode
One of the best!
Thanks for uploading!🤓🙋♂️👍
Germaine’s “cibbin” reminds me a lot of Rose Matafeo’s “shid”, ay.
Oh my, its the duckling episode 😂😂
Didn't know Germaine Greer could be so good at lying!
She a women so it kinda comes natural to them. 🤣
osman is crazy smart. i wish i had a wit that sharp
It's not all it's cracked up to be..
@@simonvanderheijden432 I see what you did there... 🤣
Btw, ducks do not reject ducklings touched by humans.

Alan looks shy and quieter than expected
I think on QI he hams it up because he fills a different roll. This seems closer to how I have seen him act on other programs.
@@willmurray1172agreed, plus QI is his home turf so he’s very comfortable there
True
He seemed ready to join in more with the football questions.
He aged well. He knows when to be the center of attention and when he's a guest. I love his attitude 😊❤
WoW 12secs without an ad
So you are telling me Richard Osman is pointless?
Greer is also wrong about the ducklings the mother won’t reject them.

A bit confused about the 'also' bit. Was she wrong about anything else?
Could also be she's tricking the opposing team.
@@Arms_Akimbo i heard ducks are actually yellow.

Germaine Greer knows absolutely nothing about ducks. 😂

All Brit?
I thought Germaine Greer is Australian!
Incidentally @ 13.53 Lee's Australian Accent is quite good 👍
Wish Alan had one to examine...lie or truth, you know.
This episode definitely needed more Alan!

Something about blue whales perhaps?
It's pretty reassuring in these unsure and desperate times that Wally really looks like a Wally.

I could swear there was a fuck it in there somewhere..
Wish Lee hadn't taken over so many conversations.
That’s his job
Anyone ever super confused by the "people tolerate a lot of noise in South America" things?? Lmao and they all just moved on
It's a cross between some Asian people's love of fireworks and the Spanish culture of going out to have fun when most people are coming home.

can we not just be grateful it’s available free on RUclips??
I will politely disagree-The Mother WILL reject them , because of the human scent. Same with many birds, sorry.
