Hello ! I was a hiway trucker for 35 years travelling all over Canada including Yukon, NWT. and Newfoundland ! So alot of the places you go is new to me because i was only on the main hiways sleeping in my truck in truck stops or anywhere i could find a nice spot with a view ! lol ! Watching your video is very interesting ! Now i wonder why you didn t take a room on the ferry ? was it all booked ? did you booked your ferry long before ? or just showed up there ? LoL ! Being a trucker i always had a room because a trucker need his 8 hour sleep in the log-book and sleeping on the ferry is mandatory ! So the trucking company pays for the room ! rooms have TV bathroom with shower ! Seing you all tired on that ferry made me feel so sorry for you guys ! LoL ! Since i m a new viewer i still don t know where you re from ? i would guess Ontario ? Lol . I see you enjoy the scenery ! it s awesome in newfoundland but when it s windy it s very windy ! That s why you don t see many trees when you get to Port aux Basques ! always so windy ! that hurricane that hit those shores was very devastating in that small town ! It s very nice to see all those places i couldn t see when trucking ! I started trucking with my first truck for Big Wheels transport out of PEI ! lol ! hauling potatoes to Quebec and Ontario ! ( Toronto ) Actually my Mack truck i started with is the one on my logo ! if you click on it you ll go directly on my channel and you ll see it better on my banner ! I got all kinds of videos, I am now retired and 66 years young and i live 55 km from Montreal ! been trucking from Edmonton, AB for 10 years ! so most of my trucking vids are from the west ! nothing fancy ! just for good memories ! 🤠
Found this channel a few days back. Have been working backwards from the current video. This one has been my favorite even though I missed Chester. Great videos. We enjoy a similar lifestyle with camping and our dog. Only difference is we do hot camping lol being in southern Texas.

ive done the drive down east when i lived in Hamilton, hard to believe that the drive from Hamilton to N.S is about the same as the drive from Hamilton to Thunder Bay

I loved the Cabot trail. Did it on my Harley. Loved NFLD too. Just wanted to let you know you can get Folgers coffee in bags like tea and it tastes like dripped coffee. Love your videos.

I've been enjoying your videos. You have a nice storage area underneath your bed. After you add a mattress and sleeping bags, how much head room do you have in the SUV?

@@AdamStew thank you for your reply. I ask because I'm working to set up my 2018 Honda CRV for camping. I'm 6-1 and almost 65 years old, but have decent flexibility. My thought was I want to keep as much head room as possible. I'm envisioning the weekend trips and other shorter adventures.
We made the platform sit above the wheel well to maximize space (since it was 2 of us) but if we built it for solo camping there would have been more room.
@@AdamStew Right. I also want to switch back and forth to using the CRV as a 4 passenger vehicle, so I want to minimize any built in storage. I enjoy seeing how different people do their conversions. Keep up the great videos and continue to share your adventures!

28 years for a chili dog.....I was being fed them for the 9 months before I was born!!! Ann's Footlongs were Mom and Dad's Friday night "date" night the whole time she was carrying me!!! Still enjoying them some 64 years later come next week.
