That clamp light is the bee's knees! Clamp light; Clamp fan; Soldering station (pick model); Rotary tool (pick model); Makes for a REALLY useful hobby station.
Just like that clamp fan; At first I didn't think I needed it, but then I realized how hard it was to find and was able to get one on the website for $20.
For the corded rotary tools, I have the 40v inverter so for those quick sanding and polishing that I don't want to whip the extention cord for I can use that. I like the flexiblity of the corded united with a battery inverter setup.
Could be competition with Dremel, could also just be matching the Dremel lineup. As for why different models, why doesn't Dremel have 3? Professional, Consumer, Cordless?
Looking forward to them hitting the shelves and websites. Can't wait for the reviews and to get my hands on some of my own for my reviews. That would be wild if RYOBI did make a half tone truck 😮🙂✌️❤️
I kinda have to agree.. Their drill press definitely looks a lot less "designed for a toddlers toy". The problem I have with Dremel though, is there are 5 billion different versions of rotary tools, and as far as I can tell, they are all the same.. which means I am missing some important information.. And I hate buying X, and then finding out I should have got Y instead.. but only finding that out AFTER its too late.. So I end up with nothing instead...
Seems like 14 different rotary tools - w/ 1 corded and different battery and tip arrangements. Why? Could it lead to a higher return rate at the stores due to customer dissatisfaction from buying the wrong one for their needs? I know I wouldn't want to be responsible for choosing which ones went onto my store's shelves. It may be difficult to do inventory, stock shelves, or process returns!
I don't even understand why some are cordless given they have a base station and cable running to the part you use. Not really much point in doing this if you're going to have the cable to the tool anyway and you're setting the base on a table or wall-mounting as shown. Not a huge reason to have the base battery powered at that point.
These look like a super attack on Dremel. Yikes. That magnify light would be great for soldering... now they just need their own helping hands stand...
Right on! I can already envision that lime yellow all-wheel drive electric SUV and pick up!!😄😁 I'm excited to get the cutter & more powerful rechargeable 12 volt rotary tool. Ryobi is on fire! With all the uncertainty out there these rechargeable tools are fantastic source of rechargeable self reliability!
I thought it was so funny that you had all these new rotary tools by Ryobi because I am taking the one I got over Christmas back to Home Depot for a refund. Every time I tried to use a cut off disc it would power off and I would have to start it up again. I read that in some of the reviews for the tool but I thought it could not possibly be that bad. It is that bad. Maybe one or more of these new rotary tools will work ok. Thanks for your channel.
LOL I love how they now are going to sell a $60 USD cutter...so you can get into plastic clamshells many of their cheaper tools are sold in (and even show a picture of doing so!). So difficult to open, you think they never wanted you to get them out of there 🤦♂ The question of course is will that cutter come in an easy-to-open package or will it be in a clamshell, creating a chicken-and-egg dilemma? 🤣
I wish they would have kept the battery fit of the new USB batteries the same as the Tek4 batteries. They are the same size and appear to be the same voltage. Makes me a little worried about the 18 V batteries that they might change them like they promised not to do.
I see a new battery platform happening. Ryobi is finally going to an in-handle battery line of tools/batteries. I think this will mean a lot more traditional tools going the way of the “HP” line, being more powerful and more pricey, while there’s a lower level tools using this new platform to compliment the larger versions. It’s M12, but for Ryobi. Finally.
tek4 never made it to this region. We never got anything but a screwdriver. Not even the good kind with a selector clutch Unfortunately we don't live on planet London, there's like a bajillion other regions ☔
Most people that use these rotary tools to make money or are serious about their craft aren’t using dremel and haven’t for years. It’s gonna be Proxxon or Foredom. I don’t really understand the need for so many small rotary/craft tools from Ryobi. Could be TTi is using Ryobi as a test bed for products for other brands, like Hart or switching up Milwaukee’s rotary that tends to melt at the business end.
@@Chukijay Pros have their time tested precision specialty tools, and that's great. Home Depot's market is primarily the DIY'r and the General Contractors that don't require the same accuracy. Honkong based TTI making RYOBI, Milwaukee and a host if others are a disruptive force in the tool and OPE industries. Many manufacturers are loosing market share to them and if they aren't inovative will fold.
I'd prefer if Dremel would release a tool that could run on the One+ battery pack. THATS the Ryobi advantage. I have both of the existing rotary tool models. Used the engraver to engrave my kids' names into their aluminum cellphone cases, as well as their new 20,000mah plug in battery pack chargers. It worked great sitting in their driveway getting the job done since two of them have Covid.
That clamp light is the bee's knees!
Clamp light;
Clamp fan;
Soldering station (pick model);
Rotary tool (pick model);
Makes for a REALLY useful hobby station.
I think Ryobi is going to have a time keeping up with demand for the clamp Magnifier Light, I want one now! EDIT: Make that TWO!!!
At that price it's going to be the hit of 2022..
Just like that clamp fan; At first I didn't think I needed it, but then I realized how hard it was to find and was able to get one on the website for $20.
That magnifying glass/work light seems like a real cool deal.
Definitely what I'm looking forward too.
The base of the magnifying glass is the same molding as their clamp on compact fan.great use of an existing part.

I have both the 18v and 40v inverters. My big Dremel plugs into the 18v inverter and runs so well I never bothered to bump it up to the 40v inverter
Definitely drooling over that Magnifier light!!!!!! I WANT ONE!!! MAYBE 2!!!!
i just wanna know what kinda market demands are there for the need to come out with 7! new rotory tools ??? XD
No shit
I'm sure out of the 7 options only a few will be in store and the rest online only unless home depot is kicking dremel to the curb
Could be competition with Dremel, could also just be matching the Dremel lineup.
As for why different models, why doesn't Dremel have 3? Professional, Consumer, Cordless?
Seriously I was like damn how many rotaries does a dude need?!
7 new tools and non of them are hybrid....kind of an over sight
Looking forward to them hitting the shelves and websites. Can't wait for the reviews and to get my hands on some of my own for my reviews. That would be wild if RYOBI did make a half tone truck 😮🙂✌️❤️
Yeah I was like where can I buy one oh wait they not real ok
All seems like great tools! If Milwaukee would make something like this, I buy everything at once.
Man, the dremel drill press setup looks 10x better at half the cost. I wonder why ryobi decided to shoot so high with these.

Drones / HD Cams/ Mag-light replacements/ Headset w BT, That's all I need as a Aircraft Tech.
A Ryobi vehicle would be awesome! it probably take 20 battery packs to run it though.
Woo Hoo 💚🤗 Crafting with Ryobi
I love all my tools … can’t wait to add more to my crafting room~ My Mimi’s Creativity
Another great detailed informative review!

I love how creative Ryobi is.
I'm gonna buy all these... I'm a milwaukee guy, but ryobi hasn't let me down, ever
Hopefully they keep making more and more new tools. Half the reason I decide on this ecosystem that and the never changing battery
i love the pic of the guy wire wheeling the brake rotor. lol.
Nicely presented, a ton of info that was well organized, quick and concise. Well done ... new sub! Cheers!
Superb update. Thx
Ooh, that clamp light!

I’m waiting for the 18v coffee/tea maker
Work like a Charm
Yes! 👍🏻
Damn I need that ring light for pruning my tomato plants🧐

Same
As an avid coin collector and a huge fan of Ryobi one+ tools, I NEEEEEED that magnifying light for my coin desk.
Man, this is how they answer to Dremel's brushless rotary tool. They really want to push Dremel out.
Easier said than done. Dremel has owned the small rotary space since back when Ryobi could barely make a recip saw.
I wish they had 75 different rotary tool options.... said no one ever ...
Looking forward to buy the rotary station tool , hopefully it’s better than the lame dremel .
Very good video 100% very informative. By WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING AT ME lol

I've just been using good scissors for blister packs for the past thirty years, no problem opening any yet, I don't know what's so hard?
I like tools
I hope the rotary tool station is quite. The one I have sounds like a rocket taking off at full power
I am smiling
Is the magnifier a glass or plastic lens?
Im buying the carver and the cutter when they are released no question about it.

Jesus, RYOBI went ape shit with the rotary tools.
Kinda like the idea of the pro level rotary tool myself

You do know the TEK 4 system has been put for years, right?
@@shade_angel1445 maybe you missed that but where Ryobi is launching a lithium USB battery platform that’s 12v
@@Chukijay the tek 4 was in handle, you never specified 12v when blatantly ignoring the in handle tek 4 system.

Seems overkill in the rotary tool area but ok
Ryobi can make a brushless rotary tool but Milwaukee cant 😅🤣😂 even though tti makes them both.
Ryobi also does auto parts and telecomm....would love to see a rugged cellphone with Ryobi logo on it.
You are mixing up Ryobi the Chinese powertool brand, and the Japanese Ryobi Limited.
With 18V battery so phone lasts all day without need for recharging. Of course, that leads to a size and weight problem …
Wish they released in the uk like they did in the us we get left behind
Oh my gosh!! 57.5k subs!!!
I know!! We've been busy over here. ;)
haha I can tell!!
I'll take the clamp on magnifier lite
Are you a paid spokesperson for TTI?
Next up the battery powered cnc
Still need to make a lathe
Ever used a lathe? Need a battery operated lathe much? With the low precision on Ryobi tools a lathe would be a nightmare. I hope you were joking.
@@pflaffik not all of their tools are battery powered
How many tools are you getting from Ryobi
Pencil sharpener and stapler please...
Damn🤔👍💪👏👏👏
ryobi does sell a truck. it'sf an rc truck. but still.
Your pronouncing Ryobi wrong. Rye Obi
Finally Ryobi is listening.
More useless tools in 2022.
Just stick with power tools.
These belong in Hobby Lobby and not at Homedepot.
Dremel is done... Stick a fork in them.🍴

I have been using the same Dremel tools for years. They are built to last. I don't really see them going anywhere personally. Time will tell.

Wow lots of useless tools. Congrats
It's all junk
