I'm currently going to school for clinical mental health counseling. I'm 2 years away from receiving my Master's Degree. However, I wonder if I can apply for an internship/more schooling in Germany if possible. No matter what, I'm making a move there and spending the rest of my days in Germany. I loved it there.

That studying at public universities is tuition free around here is one of the things I am really proud about my country.

Thank you for this nice video, it make me feel good as a taxpayer in Germany, that the money does something good - like supporting very clever young women from the US coming here, being a precious part of the German university community and considering to stay.
Well, your job opportunity depends on the subject you study, but I guess it is a science from a previous video - so it should be pretty good especially if you are free to move within Germany. Germany is, as a matter of fact, a country that is highly dependent on immigration, both highly qualified and not so highly for the workforce. The likely upcoming new government has in their papers that they want to "modernize" the immigration laws - so hopefully it will be even easier in the near future. Germany definitively needs people, especially those like you, to stay.

I'm studying history and economics, but hopefully I have that same freedom after graduation.
That's great news! A lot of people I've met have plans of staying here after their master's, so it's good to know that'll be possible for a lot of people.

My stance is that education is just another form of public infrastructure, like public transportation or the healthcare system. It should be accessible to all. If this means funding it exclusively via taxes, then so be it.
