Hey Kendra! I’m a girl from Chicago who has been living in Berlin for almost 5 years, and I passed my masters thesis defense just yesterday. I empathize with you and the quarter life crisis for sure. I will also stay in German after finishing my formal education, but you’re a bit ahead of me. And yes, at the end of school I also felt it needed to end. Wanting to overcome feeling jaded has also been something I’ve been wanting to work on. We have put in some much work already, and I feel like maybe that has contributed to the jaded feeling. Things like an abundance mindset and being a bit delusional has helped me with fighting off the jaded feeling. I’m not sure if that’s helpful at all ❤ Thank you for being honest with your feelings

yea the recent politics are crazy and scary, but the mass demos against afd have been a blast. idk if youve been on the big one in hamburg too a few weeks ago, but ive been there and it was so cool and awesome to see so many peepz stand up.
also cool that everything worked out for you as it seems and you continue to live here! im currently trying to get my partner over here this year from the US and even though its doable, it also is complicated af and a never ending stress.
