That LS400 is actually a 3rd gen. There are three LS400 generations, the first one has the smaller rectangular headlights and the biggest taillights, the second gen has the same smaller headlights but adopts smaller tails, and the third generation has the facelift up front giving it bigger headlights and has the 2nd gen taillights. Awesome video dude thanks for including my car!

glad you found the video! In fairness you could say there's three generations of the LS400, technically, I was under the assumption that it was a second General with a facelift, usually that's how I hear them refer to them as pre or post facelift 2nd gen's, mainly because it shared the same exact body and drivetrain, I have a fairly old/outdated video full right up on all three LS400s together though! But I was just subscribing why I called it a second GEN

Actually 3rd gen doesn’t start til the ls430 , the 2nd gen runs from 95-2000 the only difference is 95-97 is pre-facelift and 98-2000 is facelift but both are 100% second gen
