    • @dragonmaster391
      @dragonmaster391 29 дней назад

      and it looks as clean and perfect as new, rare to see such a thing in America let alone Japan. The Dakota is a beloved muscle truck platform (look into the Dakota RT / Durango RT with the 5.9 ^^ and the community for it, or the Shelby Dakota, where Carol Shelby looked at the Dakota, threw a v8 in it and made a sport truck, which is actually why the Dakota began offering v8s standard). The RT with the 5.9 v8 was only offered in single and extended cabs, so I strongly suspect that this is an RT with the 5.9, esp given that those have been the best maintained and cared for of the 2nd gens. look at that cargo hauler in the bed, making it look like they might be doing something, but acting as cover for their sport truck that somehow blends in perfect despite how much it stands out. You wouldn't think someone would bother to import a 2nd Gen dakota, they're nice enough but why bother with one, unless it's got a killer v8 and you can get it for a reasonable enough price.
      That truck is probably the biggest engine around, even the fanciest cars around with high Preformance engines aren't going over 5 liters. In Japan where people don't know about the Dakota, let alone the RT, I bet this thing takes souls.

    Random comment I know, but C-notches do not necessarily mean bagged. Even a full static drop uses C-notches. The notch is specifically just to further lower the car without hindering the rear axle and suspension geometry. After C-notches, it can still have air bags added or hydraulic. To for certain dictate if it has air bags, you must see the air tank in back, unless they hid the tank somewhere, or compressor depending. I haven't been updated in modern truck scenes to know if air bags advanced further to not need a tank.
