Brad sounded SO enthused by punching stan. "Got him!"
The ending is kinda expected but I still love the way the story ended with everyone gathered at the fire camp and Frank Stone watching over them, just like DBD lobbies for both the survivors and the killers.
And with the post credit scene where the much older Augustine brought younger Augustine after she's literally got killed by Frank Stone before just show that there's a play with the Multiverse between year 1963, 1980, and 2024 being in a cycle where the Older Augustine schemed to bring back Frank Stone to the world.
Kills me how Linda looks as old as Sam Green as if they are peers. She looks even older actually................ok Linda addressed this.
yessss havent watched the full part 2 so here comes a 2.5 hour binge watch of THHHEE GOOOAAATTT
Being a big dead by daylight fan this game looked amazing from the little things like the toy killers from dbd to showing us just how the entity takes survivors and players into its sorta world. If you don’t know dead by daylight YOU NEED TO READ UP ON IT AFTER THIS!!!!
I really enjoyed this series - the plot- animtion - acting all great IMO - this as a "mini series" was better than alot of stuff i watch on streaming - Had a real "Twin Peaks" vibe
THough I do recomend the new movie on streaming "Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls"

I actually didn't see this game anywhere yet coz i wanted to be spoiler free for when i finally se your playthrough. It was a great way of showing what the lore of the game is. You play as characters pulled into a parallel universe that runs fully on the whims of the eldritch entity, and the killers are just given freedom by it to hunt these "players" for sport. This game really showed how the entity actually came into control of the entire universe due to one person's planned actions and then you end up at the campsite which is the lobby in DBD with the killer overlooking your site waiting for the game to begin again. Nice close.

Not just Brad but any person who hasn't grown up in a Spanish speaking neighborhood or has Spanish speaking friends teaching people how to pronounce their names. It's very common. It's as common as people in America not knowing how to pronounce Nigerian names.

I think my favorite Supermassive game is either this one or The Quarry. I liked the cheesiness of The Quarry, but this was more of a serious body-horror approach. Pretty good story too.

So this is like a prequel to DBD like what is going on and why the killer is trying to kill the survivors. I think that's what it is.
But we already knew why the killers were killing and how the entity works. Watch Azymovs. He explained a lot of it and the archives do too. The killer is controlled by the entity.
Ex: Trapper is known for being the most stubborn killer that was punished by it because he tried to fight it. The Spirit who is said to see her dad when chasing survivors, being manipulated by the entity to kill and more.
I wouldn't say prequel as clearly the Huntress is a thing (we saw her mask everywhere, probably Augustine got it from a different universe) and the dolls of killers too.
Edit: more like a story in the dbd universe and the confirming of multiverse (which we guessed from the different skins in dbd that hint to different timelines). Fun fact, one of the Legion is Meg Thomas in a universe where she moved with her mum instead of dad after the divorce
