I was hoping he would get his 1000th today but not to be , I think he can still do it, like a wine he has mellowed in his later years ( not so distant from his viewers ), more warmer , it seems , love his competitive spirit.
Con la finale di Shanghai Jannik Sinner ha sconfitto Novak Djokovic TRE VOLTE DI FILA. È il primo tennista a riuscirci da Rafa Nadal, nel 2013. Non c'è Alcaraz in questa statistica
The sad truth is that Nole is weaker now than the big too guns(Sinner and Alkaraz) and things will not change as time passes by!Just his body gets older and older, that is the circle of life!A convincing win for Sinner! If Joko had taken the first set tiebreak, things might have been different!Who knows...😮😮😮❤❤❤
The same strange situation over and over again. Djokovic plays all the matches at a high level, but when he faces Sinner or Alcaraz in the final, his performance drops dramatically, he becomes confused, his mistakes increase, and he loses the match.
No mate, more like the others on the tour are shit. Not taking away anything from Djokovic but he had a pretty easy run 3 years until Alcaraz and Sinner stepped up.
Unlike against his other opponents, Djokovic cannot beat Alcaraz or Sinner by playing his usual risk controlled game, unless they are having a below par day (such as Alcaraz in the Olympics finals). He would be put away quite comfortably. He _has_ to take a lot more chances, and go for shots he does not have to against the others. Unless it one of those (now) rare days when most of the borderline shots go in his favor, It _appears_ as if his "performance drops dramatically" or that "he is confused". He is not -- he is quite clear headed about what he _has_ to do to win but is not able to execute. It's still incredible that he can produce this level considering his age and recent injuries.
Age explains 100% this. At 37, Djoko can bring the best player in the world to tie break. Imagine what peak Djoko (or even Nadal) wouldn't do to these guys

Stroll in the park for Sinner, easy win ;)
They should have put Federer in as substitute, after Novak lost, I'm sure he'd have put up a better fight, and at least got a set!

I see from the comments that many Djokovic fans and very envious ones have understood that currently only WADA can stop Sinner...

Just a beat down of past-his-prime Djo. They gave him another cake draw to get him to the final and he just can't compete. Sad.
The highlights were so short, because Sinner assaulted Nole in straight sets- haha!
Straight sets, hehe...❤❤❤😅
Congratulations Sinner, it's really only Alcaraz and Sinner who have been able to match Djokovic fully in recent years.
Ja det är sant, för att dessa två är best i världen just nu och förhoppningsvis i framtiden också.
What happened to 5 set masters finals?
No medical timeouts, no bathroom breaks, no victory. Not one title this year and also not one break.
just steroids
@@DocHolliday_11 what about his other losses? Lol
Wow bro 2 min highlights for 2 hr match how lazy are your editors
It's good to be young

Simply because they are currently better

VS ALCARAZ OLYMPIC
Also at his age, his body doesn't recover as fast. So by the time he reaches the finals he's more worn out
Novak cult followers crying, hehe...😢
djokevic at his best against a top5.

But we must say that obviously this guys also can play better and show they prime level in the future
But Alcaraz and Sinnner have not completely peaked yet ... U may never know they might play much better in years to come
@@roydondsa it doesn’t matter, the decline a 37 year old Novak had is greater than the distance from peaking Sinner has. He’s not a baby, he’s 23
