I was in Macchu pichu in 2010 and we got up at 2:30am to hike to the top of the old Inca trail for the sunrise over the Andes , amazing experience. I have been wanting to go back ever since and MTB hopefully this summer.
Your buddy was talking to you around the 39th minute on the wide trail. He's looking back at you while he's inches from the edge. I got nervous watching!!! Thought he might go down for the count!!! Nice riding as usual ;-)

I currently have bought a used 2017 ghost kato hardtail and it's a good bike but sadly after having a front break failure I couldn't ride it anymore and haven't got time/ money to get new rotors and pads and oil

Just goes to show you that having a dropper, 170, 180 Fork or some of these other so called high-end parts/specs are not really necessary to ride out! people can and will makes due and make you rethink why I paid so much for this and that.
