    Wow! Absolute gold mine of a channel this is. So glad I found it. Mr Bruce gore must be like the most insightful grandpa to have. I can just imagine how interesting it must be to have a sit down and listen to stories about how prophetic thought has varied over the years and what explanations make the best case looking at it today. Anyway, can't wait to go through content, I'll be taking my time as I'm certain there's alot to take in

    Boy, i have always known i cannot measure anywhere close. Pretty scared. Whew. Jesus being perfect is surely not me. I'm trying to make me change, what's really scared. I have to get Christ to take totally over, but i cannot make him hop in me. Perfect inside me might kill me instanly, is what scared me. He's in my really loving heart, that gets over things. He is so loving. Thank goodness. Cause im just mad at being inadequate and no one helping cause i try for others. You are so right, about it all. Obviously, we are all gone. I live in depression, freaking out on this. I fake it, but he knows.

    Pardon me, but it says the the lake of fire is the second death, so how can it never cease to exist then? Death by definition is no life, yet eternal torment doctrine says they in the lake of fire never cease to exist. No sir, God does not give eternal life to those that are cast into the lake of fire. You cannot call it death, if someone is tormented forever; it's eternal life but a painful one. Eternal torment is a doctrine from hell.
    23 For the wages of sin is DEATH; but the gift of God is eternal LIFE through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

      "And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.” Revelation 14:11
      Imagine calling something explicitly taught in scripture a "doctrine from hell."

      Well said, could not be clearer. Black and white and cannot be clearer, it’s life or death where both mean exactly that

    • @thecrisisfortruth
      @thecrisisfortruth 2 года назад +1

      well said! The Lake of fire is a symbolic place that “burns with fire and sulfur,” also described as “the second death.” Unrepentant sinners, the Devil, and even death and the Grave (or, Hades) are thrown into it. The inclusion of a spirit creature and also of death and Hades, all of which cannot be affected by fire, indicates that this lake is a symbol, not of everlasting torment, but of everlasting destruction. The bible could not be more clear, the problem begins when people mix symbolism with literalism.

    to believe in God is to obey God, there are 25 instances in the NT where God blots out names out of the lambs book of life over disobedience, there is no once saved always saved for merely acknowledging Christ is Lord, the devils believe and tremble but don't obey God.

  • @OldSchoolBaptistInOslo
    @OldSchoolBaptistInOslo 3 года назад +7

    Eternal torment is not cruelty, but justice? Think on this: Did Jesus pay the price for sin in full? Was he then tormented forever on the cross, or did he die? Think about it. The bible says The Lord DIED for our sins, not tormented for our sins. If the penalty for sin is death, why then would you think it is fair for a man to pay for his sins in endless torment? God is indeed just, and that is why eternal torment doctrine is false and is a slap in the face of the Lord Jesus Christ.

    hi Bruce, I have been confused by religions like JWs for a lifetime, finally it is coming clear after i left the CULT. I agree with you totally, the revelation was mostly fulfilled in the first century. But I have a question that still hangs over me. If all this was fulfilled in the first century, what is there for us 2000 years later? why has it taken 2000 years till now for Christ to come? What has been going on in heaven? Why the delay? hope you can answer these questions. Thanks

    • @GoreBruce

      Christ commissioned his people to make disciples of the nations. It is an on-going, long term process. It will reach its conclusion at a time when the knowledge of God covers the earth as the waters cover the sea. In my opinion, we are not there yet. The process may take many many more years, but will certainly reach its culmination at some point.

      @@GoreBruce Thanks Bruce, I will watch it with my family. i had a sneak peak and I am amazed that they can get 4 different beliefs from one revelation! either none are right or Only one can be right. I do know there are no signs of any time of the end as Jesus said no one knows the hour the day the season. therefore no one can know the year the decade or the century, this harmonizes with the signs being fulfilled with the destruction of Jerusalem. yet many religions including the JWs push it and push that we are living in the time of the end to keep people in slavery to men. The Jws leadership have made fools of themselves again by saying on their JW broadcasting that " we are living in the final part of the final part of the last days, shortly before the the last day of the last days" Yes, I kid you not! Well the Bible has to verify everything exotically, if the bible is silent on a matter, then we cannot form ideas or teachings, lest we mislead others,going beyond the scriptures, mistreating the sheep that belong to Christ and fall into the hands of the living God.

    • @thecrisisfortruth
      @thecrisisfortruth 3 года назад +2

      @@GoreBruce hi Bruce we watched the video , whilst i agree with you on most of the fulfillment of revelation because it harmonies with the scriptures. i cannot agree on the earth being saturated with the good news being accepted by all people on the earth at some point in the future, it is not scriptural. There are too many scriptures that disagree with this idea. Jesus said many will say to me Lord Lord when he comes. He said MANY. No matter how many centuries go by not all will become Christians, they will always be the minority, not all will stop their wickedness, and the scriptures reflect that. the knowledge of God will not become like the waters of the sea until Christ does away with wickedness, removes the people perpetrating evil and removes the Governments.

    Accurate translations of the Bible (YLT) do not contain the word “hell”. The word is Gehenna, a valley outside of Jerusalem and did not need to be “translated” any more than the word Jerusalem needed to be translated. This is where our Catholic creed tradition took us way off track. When Jesus said “Gehenna” to his Jewish listeners, they woud have thought about the Babylonian national judgment where The Valley of Hinnom was also called “The Valley of Slaughter”. They would have know immediately Jesus was prophesying national judgment for Israel (Roman-Jewish War). Notice that Paul doesn’t mention hell. One would think that if “eternal torment” was in people’s future, he would have at least had the courtesy to warn them. No. Hell has no place in Christian thought. Perishing is different from “eternal punishment”.

    Question for you Bruce:
    The question about people and tribes that have never heard about Jesus and the gospel always comes up. So, is it safe to say the if those people recognize through nature that God exists, they honor God, and they follow that inner moral compass of right and wrong, they are saved still by Jesus sacrifice??? Can you expound on that?

    Please do a mini research on "God's train filled the temple". (it's a verse). Back then the earthly kings wore a coat and the coat had a long train. The more glorious and long the train, the more powerful and rich and awesome the king, (his majesty). Some were really very long and had gems in it. But the verse says that God's train FILLED THE TEMPLE !!!!!! can you imagine how long it would have to be to fill the old temple ? That's his majesty.
