I think I would prefer if the ribbons start at the bottom and extend to the top, creating the illusion that the ribbon wraps around the entire bag.

My husband purchased the Saint Laurent for $5000 for my birthday and my friend purchased a dupe for around $60 and it looks identical? I honestly couldn't believe it! The only thing is that the silver chrome chain handle on her dupe bag has faded, but she can just purchase a thick chrome handle chain and put it on her bag!
