title says "any email" so i expected to see the setup of an email account outside of the preselected group of providers
For the most part, the process should be the same. You may have to manually add some of the server settings, as opposed to the mail app pulling all the info for you. In order to get the right server settings for your email, you'll need to do a search online for their dedicated settings.
For example, if my email provider was Comcast, I would Google "Email Server Settings for Comcast."

Does this imply that the app you used here will automatically find the server settings for setup any Yahoo, or AOL, or Outlook, or GMail accounts?
I have the LG V30 and it does NOT have the gmail option to add on like it has on your samsung. I rather use the stock email app rather than the gmail app. Any suggestions youtube?

I see you're responding to comments. Perhaps you can help. I don't have the Yahoo app on my Android 9pii Coolpad legacy. I just use the internet to get to Yahoo mail. Can't send an email because the (send) isn't active. Coolpad tech reps deal with difficult issues by hanging up. So.........
You may be able to go into the settings of your browser on the Android and see if there is an option to switch to Desktop version of the website.

For some reason my Yahoo email stopped working on it and when try signing in it says not authorized but I know my email and password are correct
When was the last time you signed in?
@@HelpCloud straightened out had to use the generate password to sign in on older apps on yahoo mail website and got it to work
This did nothing for me. What about incoming & outgoing servers. They don't automatically come up for me.

It won't allow me to sign/set up (tried multiple times) in to my yahoo account through this app, as it keeps saying 'cannot connect to server'

I have US Cellular and I bought me a new phone and switch phone company I bought Cricket phone I tried to use my old email the company I work for I got to have it all the time everyday they see me email I have two phones I still have a u.s. Cellular I can't switch my email to Cricket they told me I can later I couldn't switch to email Cricket employees that didn't know they have to call somebody they need to train their employees not trick somebody to bought you a $240 phone

You lost me at step #1, buddy. What "email" app? I don't have any generic "email" app on my Galaxy S21 Ultra running Android 11. There are literally dozens of email apps on the Google Play Store. Which one do I choose? This video is useless to me.
The S21 comes with an "Email" app.

If not in play store, do you know other such email apps which let you choose among several email providers and also make the setup of accounts as easily as on the one you demonstrated here? The app does the configs for incoming and outgoing servers for the user?
