One tip I've never seen on a RUclips trip (even as good as this one!) If you want a coffee or a drink, the cheapest way is to drink inside the cafe, standing up at the bar; if you sit down inside it will cost you a little more and to sit outside it will cost you even more!

I went to Venice in November, it's such a beautiful place and by far the best place I've been! I'd imagine some things have changed since 1997, but it still feels like a time Worph. As soon as this shit calms down definitely pay Venice another visit, it's so worth it :)

Great Video! Venice is a mythical, wonderful city in the middle of a misty, wet and dream-like lagoon. It has more myths, legends and old stories passed on from mouth to mouth, from father to child for 1500 years than other places. Tourism is an issue, but anybody with an adventurous mind can easily find spots, areas, or even islands far away from the tourist mainstream. You won't see Saint Mark's Square or the Basilica but you can have a different and much more genuine experience.
The legend about the Patriarch of Aquileia, the tribute of 12 pigs and a bull as the origin of the Carnival in Venice, is just that, a legend. There are others...
    Again... Great Video!

Great video! Two thoughts though. Venice really isn’t sinking so much as the sea levels are rising. At one point water was being extracted from the aquifer beneath Venice which caused significant settling but that was stopped quite some time ago. Secondly, in my opinion, NEVER stay at an AirBnB in Venice if you really love Venice. AirBnB’s are a major factor driving up the cost of rent for Venetians and pricing them out of their homes. One additional thought....never take a cruise that goes to Venice...there are too many negative effects to Venetians and the lagoon to list!

It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
