Legacy is one of the greatest books I have laid my eyes upon. James Kerr captures the essence and spirit of what it means to be an all black and how it can be applied in every walk of life. Life changing for the people who percieves it with an open heart and mind.

Bro…I get that many places have their ups and downs when it comes to people/dynamics. But seeing how New Zealand somehow integrated the Maori culture within their modern world is so amazing. I truly believe the All Blacks helped a ton. This book is amazing to read as a young Samoan man trying to find meaning.

My mate at work 2010 gave me something to read and it is similar to what i have just watched. I picked up something that defines team work as i write below.
You go the first mile and you discharge a duty, You go the second mile and you make a friend. The great men and women in history have been those willing to go the second mile. Those who go the second mile are often blessed with another rare and unique gift they discover the divine in others

Somebody could say me what it means "sweeping the sheds"? I don't get it i'm not native in English and i don't see the connection about this phrase with the chapter number one of this book.

Sweep the “sheds” means cleaning up the “locker room” after the game, a role delegated to team leaders. There’s a saying you leave the room better than you found it, and sweeping the shed represents that.

This haka is about Te Wharerangi and his wife Te Rangikoaea of Rotoaira who save Te Rauparaha's life from his pursuers. Ten years later Te Wharerangi is killed for doing this. At Otukou Marae, the poutokomanawa on Okahukura records this event. Ngati Toa never talk about the rescuer. I am his direct line.
