@DThorn Vlogs Thanks! Each one has a different purpose. A hardware wallet, such as the Trezor wallet, is good for long term storage. They are seen as a more secure storage option. Exchanges such as Coinbase are a good place to store your cryptocurrency in the short term to buy, sell, or send your cryptocurrency 👍

Eric, I had a question to ask you about about the withdrawal process from 'Coinbase'. While withdrawing Bitcoin from Coinbase to my bank account do I have to first deposit to my USD wallet and then to my bank account? Please clarify at your earliest. Thank.
Hi there. Yes, to withdraw Bitcoin from your Coinbase to your bank account you have to first sell your cryptocurrency into your USD wallet. Once the funds are then in your USD wallet you will have the option to withdraw to your your bank account, your PayPal account (in some countries), or use the funds to buy cryptocurrency again 👍
I like Coinbase for its ease of use to get started buying Bitcoin. However, if you are looking to trade you may want to consider Coinbase Pro. It is an advanced trading platform linked to your regular Coinbase account and has much lower fees. Once you create a Coinbase account you will also have access to a Coinbase Pro account 👍
@Earl Shipley, you just have to create a Coinbase account. Once you have a Coinbase account you can go the Coinbase Pro website and login with your Coinbase account 👍
Thank you so much for the video. I am new and I just have one question so I was reading that you aren’t supposed to keep your money/cryptocurrency in exchanges so are you allowed to keep it in Coinbase is it safe ?
Coinbase is safe and you can keep it there. However, for long term storage it is still recommended to keep your cryptocurrency on a hardware wallet. Hardware wallets store your cryptocurrency offline and off the exchanges, which would keep your cryptocurrency safe in the rare event Coinbase were ever to get compromised.
Fee to sell, fee to buy, fee to withdraw to PayPal, fee to withdraw to bank, fee to convert.... ugh... in a world where practically all stock brokers are zero commission, why cant crypto catch up
Yea, it is unfortunate that fees are still charged in the cryptocurrency space. If you are able to withdraw to PayPal, I highly recommend it. While Coinbase will still charge a withdrawal fee, there was no fee on PayPal's end. Plus I got my cash instantly through PayPal, unlike the bank withdraw, which takes a couple of days.
Brokerage accounts make money from having their client's funds in bank accounts where they are paid for deposits. Crypto exchanges are just that, exchanges where they don't have massive amounts of money on loan to banks, they have to charge fees.
I can get my cryptocurrencies off Coinbase and into my bank in less than 10 min via PayPal. It costs $ every step of the way but I've done this several times with no issues so far. It really is simple once you're set but Coinbase makes it an expensive transaction!!

Thanks! I haven't had any problems with withdrawing from my Coinbase to my bank account. On the other hand, I have heard users say they've experience problems with Bank of America. But I don't have a Bank of America account so I can't verify this. Generally speaking, I would probably say the most cryptocurrency-friendly banks would be newer up and coming mobile banks. Companies like Chime, Acorns, Stash, etc. Also, if you are located in the US, you can instantly withdraw to your PayPal account as an alternative 👍
Everyday Investing, thanks for the tip. Currently I am looking into signing up for another account, but I want to do online banking with a mobile app such as Chime or Varo. I am really torn between the two right now because they both are free, and I have heard the APY for Chime is low compared to Varo. Do you have an opinion on which is better since it will be my first time using mobile banking app. I really have a headache because I keep seeing people say al types of things.
I haven't used either Chime or Varo yet unfortunately. But I've heard good things on Chime and am planning on signing up for a Chime account soon. The interest rate on most mobile banking apps is variable. So it's pretty common for their APY to fluctuate as the federal interest rate adjusts. Because of this, I would say to not solely make your decision on the APY interest rate, but rather which bank offers the most overall features you think you'll benefit from 👍
I don't believe this is possible. Anytime you convert any cryptocurrency into dollars there will be a fee. You may want to look into Coinbase Pro, which is the exchange version of Coinbase linked to your Coinbase account. Fees on Coinbase Pro for limit orders are between 0.15%-0% depending on how much volume you trade.
Hello 👋🏼 . Great vid! Just had one question. When I link my bank account do I have to wait a while before I can start selling and withdrawing from my usd wallet?
Thanks! No, once you're bank account is linked you will be able to start buying and selling cryptocurrency. However, you cannot withdraw straight from your USD wallet to your bank account. You will have to first use the funds in the USD wallet to buy a cryptocurrency and when you sell it you can then choose to withdraw the funds directly to your bank if you wish.
Good question. So unfortunately you cannot directly withdraw from your USD wallet to your bank account. If you have cash sitting in your USD wallet and you want to withdraw it you will first need to buy a cryptocurrency. Then you can sell that cryptocurrency and withdraw the proceeds to your bank account.
A2k L when you sell Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency on Coinbase you actually get to choose where the proceeds go. So you can choose to send the proceeds of the sale to either your bank account or your USD wallet. It's all up to you.
Good tutorial but when I used the app it never gave me the option as to where I would like to deposit the money. It went straight to my USD Wallet and I needed it to go directly to my bank account
I’m back . How are you converting the bitcoin amount? I can’t see the amount of bitcoin very well in this video via cell. Are you estimating the amount of bitcoin you have? You just randomly picked 100.00
You can simply type the dollar equivalent you want to send the USD box and Coinbase will automatically calculate and send the equivalent amount of bitcoin for you 👍
Everyday Investing do you know why there are two different apps of Coinbase in the App Store? Do I need both? I don’t understand. I only downloaded the top one , not the wallet. I’m assuming I need both apps ? So confused
When you sell your chosen cryptocurrency it has to first convert it into Cash (USD). Once it is in your Cash (USD) wallet you can then withdraw to your linked bank account.
Hey Therese, PayPal withdraws are currently only supported in the US. If you don't mind me asking, are you located in the US? If so, have you already linked your PayPal account? When I joined Coinbase I believe there was some initial verification required before I had access to depositing and withdrawing. But if any verification is required it should let you know from inside your account profile.
Do you mean the money is in your cash wallet on Coinbase? If it is in there you should be able to go to the accounts area and click on your cash wallet. From there you should see an option to withdraw to your linked bank account.
How can I transfer my funds from my coinbase wallet to my bank account? I cannot seem to find anything that shows me how to do that. Also my balance in my coinbase wallet does not show on my coinbase account which is zero since my bitcoin is in my wallet. I have linked my bank account and debit card. Hi! Great video, but as of writing this it looks like the interface and some of the steps have changed. Now instead of it saying "wallet" it just lists the assets in a "profile" tab (not accounts)... and then when you get into the wallet it no longer says buy or sell, theres a trade option and a sell option. Hey Nicklaus. Are you in the US? Certain features are limited in certain countries outside the US. But if you are in the US, it sounds like it may be a glitch. I would try to see if you are still getting this error on another browser, just to see if that solves it. Or if you're using the mobile app I would make sure your app is up to date. Also, I would recommend sending a tweet to Coinbase support on Twitter with your ticket case# and a recap of your issue. (Not the main Coinbase Twitter page, they also have an official Coinbase support Twitter page). This usually helps to escalate your ticket. Hope this helps 👍
so the quickest way to get the usd in your account is by withdrawing to paypal? do you know more or less the withdrawl from paypal to bank account? what about purchasing with paypal on coinbase?
Hey John. There is a lower fee when selling on Coinbase Pro than when selling on Coinbase. The nice thing is you can easily transfer your bitcoin from your regular Coinbase account to your Coinbase Pro account (and visa versa) for free 👍
Hi there. For US users you are able to withdraw either to your bank or your PayPal account. However, you can not directly withdraw your ETH to your bank or PayPal. You have to first convert your cryptocurrency into USD. Have you first sold your ETH and deposited the funds into your USD wallet? Once you sell your ETH and it's converted to cash in your USD wallet, you are then able to withdraw from your USD wallet to either your linked bank account or PayPal account 👍
Very detail explainattion. I have coinbase account but my problem is how to withdraw from coinbase to my bank account coz im in the Philippines. Hope you could help me. Thnaks.
Hey Joven, certain features are limited in certain countries. On Coinbase's website they have a page called "supported countries." Here you can find if buying and selling is supported in your country. I just checked and it says buys and sells are not currently available in the Philippines. Only converting is available at this time in the Philippines. If you want to sell and withdraw to your bank, what you can do is transfer your cryptocurrency from Coinbase to a local exchange that supports withdraws in your country. From here you will be able to cash out and withdraw back to your bank 👍
When I click sell it says: "Sells not supported". It then has a button saying: "Subscribe now" .. and when I click on it, it simply takes me to the Coinbase blog. What gives?
Hey there, certain features are limited in certain countries. On Coinbase's website they have a page called "supported countries." Here you can find if selling is supported in your country. On a side note, sells are supported in the US , so if you are in the US then it may be a glitch. I would try opening a new browser or clearing your browser's cookies to see if that solves the issue.
I have both blockchain and coinbase ( started with blockchain ) . Am wondering which is better short term and getting money out with lowest fee? Also I was thinking of at a certain time transferring my coinbase earning to my blockchain wallet if that is better and a way to avoid some fees but maybe it would be worse idk.
I have money in my USD funds, I am unable to get these funds transferred to my bank account, it does not give me options to send money into any other account.
man, did you have any problems on withdrawals from coinbase? I have a lot of issues mostly because of few weeks delays in procedures. seems like coinbase is not a bad place to trade
Withdrawing with coinbase was very hard for me. Once my payment was put on hold and had to wait around to week to unfreeze my money and still I didn't understand the reason why they did this with my funds
I can’t add my bank account. I have my debit card linked to buy. Can I sell to my debit card to have it deposited into my account? I’d imagine it would still take a week
I am looking to withdraw funds from my offshore wagering account . They have bitcoin options. My question is would I first have to make a DEPOSIT in to my Coinbase wallet before I could move funds and then withdraw them in to a bank account? I’m really not looking to invest just use for withdrawals
This is a question, no one seems to ever answer. Sample question: If I spend $300 on bitcoin, and current value of bitcoin is 5,000...how can I make more coins if the value for one con is less than my investment?
The amount of bitcoin you buy stays the same regardless of it's dollar value. So for example, if you buy 0.1 bitcoin and the price of bitcoin goes up in value you still own that same 0.1 bitcoin, it would just be worth more now.

Coinbase has not yet solved this problem in any way. If this goes on and customers have to wait that long, they'll lose all their customers.
they sin with it. especially their application with a long fiat hold
longer and hold funds about week or much

thats true. i cant withdraw my money already 2 weeks
How do I change my address? Without making a deposit or withdrawal
A Mdz do you still need that?
when you convert to cash, does it fluctuate or stays at the price it's been sold?
Yes, when you convert to cash your cash balance will not fluctuate. It will remain in cash at the price the cryptocurrency has been sold 👍
Everyday Investing do you know why there are two different apps of Coinbase in the App Store? Do I need both? I don’t understand. I only downloaded the top one , not the wallet. I’m assuming I need both apps ? So confused
been searching for the know how video. thanks for this!
When I go to sell, there no drop down to select an account. It says Cash (USD) not USD Wallet. What do I do?
When you sell your chosen cryptocurrency it has to first convert it into Cash (USD). Once it is in your Cash (USD) wallet you can then withdraw to your linked bank account.
Same here.
Wow that just made everything so clear thanks for sharing and explaining!
but with coinbase u can lose all in one moment
Hello
I sold my crypto like a week ago but ever time I go to withdraw my funds from USD it says I have $0 available? Why?
I’m having the same problem. Let me know if you figured it out, I’m on the app and still trying to figure out how to put my money in the bank. 😭
@@ashleyrazo4123 I emailed coinbase support and got it out
Thank you. Very easy to understand.
How come it won't let me deposit to my paypal account when I do it? Do I have to verify something?
Hey Therese, PayPal withdraws are currently only supported in the US. If you don't mind me asking, are you located in the US? If so, have you already linked your PayPal account? When I joined Coinbase I believe there was some initial verification required before I had access to depositing and withdrawing. But if any verification is required it should let you know from inside your account profile.
Therese Tipton his response is on point
Should I buy bitcoin now and wait till prices increase to sell please?
absolutely, you can
I could refer you to a company I invest with btw
Hey so I sold through the app and I did no pay attention to send the money to my account. I just checked and it states payment type is Cash (USD)
This whole system with coinbase is very confusing and I'm very frustrated thanks for any help you can provide!
THIS NEEDS AND UPDATE!!!!!!
My Coinbase wallet doesn’t have all this bank options. I’m
In NYC if that helps and my computer is not compatible with downloading the app either. I’m stuck and can’t take my money out of my wallet. Help!
I don’t see accounts on my bitcoin app and no way to convert to cash as a form of holding it on the app??
Hey Mari. Are you trying to sell your bitcoin and withdraw to your bank? Because you cannot directly withdraw your cryptocurrency to your bank. You have to first convert your cryptocurrency into USD (or your country's fiat). Once you sell your cryptocurrency it's converted to cash in your cash wallet. You are then able to withdraw from your cash wallet to your linked bank account 👍
@@EverydayInvesting Is this something new since your video? Because it shows you going directly from bitcoin to your Paypal/bank etc...
@Jake Friedel yes it is. They've redesigned the app layout a bit since I made this video. I'll have to make a more updated version soon 👍

Thanks for your tutorial. How do I withdraw from my USD wallet to my bank account? I have cash sitting there for a week and I can’t get it into my bank again.
Having same problem sold some crypto on coinbase didn't give me an option as where to put it . Then got an email confirming the sale . Then found it sitting in the usd wallet and it won't let me do anything with it. Any help would be appreciated
The best,I like Coinbase is little bit expensive but what a heck if you make money no problem!!!!
What? If you have nothing, there's no other problem, could choose another scam. Withdrawal limits are close to be the highest
I'll reveal one secret, friends. if you see a similar review, then ask the person how much money he was paid ??!?! Honest people will never write this nonsense

How about selling and withdrawing a huge amt is it the same process?
Hi! Yesterday I sold some of Etherium. I was trying to withdraw to my bank account but I don't have any option to where I can do that. Should I wait some time after selling or something wrong with my wallet or bank account? Could you help me, please?
Have you already linked your bank account to your Coinbase account? You can add a bank account under your settings and then under "link account."
Investing Apps TV How can I link my bank account? If I’ve already add my bank account when I signed up for Coinbase. Does it mean that I linked it or I didn’t? I was trying to add my bank account again when I wanted to withdraw but it said that I already have this bank account. I have only one debit card. I don’t want to use credit cards for that
Investing Apps TV May I send screenshots from the app to you? It would be much easier to understand what I mean
If you click on the settings tab on the bottom right and then click on linked accounts does it show your bank there?
Investing Apps TV yes
Hi! Great video, but as of writing this it looks like the interface and some of the steps have changed. Now instead of it saying "wallet" it just lists the assets in a "profile" tab (not accounts)... and then when you get into the wallet it no longer says buy or sell, theres a trade option and a sell option. Is it still relatively... similar? Theres totally different buttons on the APP now
How will i widthraw/sell my bitcoin? it keeps telling me "link account missing" but my bank has been link all this time. I tried to call them but it says they cant assist on widrawing money for now!

Is it better to sell your bitcoin within Coinbase or sell it in pro.coinbase?
Hey John. There is a lower fee when selling on Coinbase Pro than when selling on Coinbase. The nice thing is you can easily transfer your bitcoin from your regular Coinbase account to your Coinbase Pro account (and visa versa) for free 👍
Can't withdraw ETH. I live in US. Bank account is linked paypal is linked. IT WON"T LET ME! HELP!!!
@@EverydayInvestingHello, wow thank you for your response. I will do that. 👍👍
Can you mine bitcoin with your phone and if so, what's the best miner?
Nice video❤️✌️👍
I have both blockchain and coinbase ( started with blockchain ) . Am wondering which is better short term and getting money out with lowest fee? Also I was thinking of at a certain time transferring my coinbase earning to my blockchain wallet if that is better and a way to avoid some fees but maybe it would be worse idk.
Hi...can you withdraw to Skrill? if you can may you know what's their fee? Thanks
I have money in my USD funds, I am unable to get these funds transferred to my bank account, it does not give me options to send money into any other account.
If I convert the cryptocurrency to USD then withdraw it to my bank will it come in faster?
Hey Andy, you must always convert your cryptocurrency to USD before you can withdraw it to your bank 👍
Are there any fees to transfer it to your USD wallet?
You wrong, you got to sale btc to the usd wallet and then windraw to the bank!
Thank you !! Clear explanation!!
man, did you have any problems on withdrawals from coinbase? I have a lot of issues mostly because of few weeks delays in procedures. seems like coinbase is not a bad place to trade

Thanks for sharing. Could I sell/buy/withdraw through payment method of Saving Bank account , not checking account?

I am looking to withdraw funds from my offshore wagering account . They have bitcoin options. My question is would I first have to make a DEPOSIT in to my Coinbase wallet before I could move funds and then withdraw them in to a bank account? I’m really not looking to invest just use for withdrawals
This is a question, no one seems to ever answer. Sample question: If I spend $300 on bitcoin, and current value of bitcoin is 5,000...how can I make more coins if the value for one con is less than my investment?
The amount of bitcoin you buy stays the same regardless of it's dollar value. So for example, if you buy 0.1 bitcoin and the price of bitcoin goes up in value you still own that same 0.1 bitcoin, it would just be worth more now.
with conbase transfer delays i wonder how much it takes to withdraw
